Season Ticket Sales

In a similar place right now - I did say last summer when we renewed that this season would be a defining one as to whether we sign up again for next season - when I mentioned that in conversation, my audience has had a look of shock on their faces including Mrs JBS (who is normally the one saying “have you done it yet” as the deadline approaches).
I love going down the Saints enough to be turned in a similar way to, as a mediocre golfer, that one hole in a crap round played to perfection that drags you back to play again - I personally control that situation.
I’m fickle enough with Saints to hope next Tuesday will be that hole - but I’m not holding my breath.

Quite interesting I thought, I know it is just Block 31 but that is disgraceful to be 3rd on that list.

WHU and Man City offering some of the cheapest is no surprise, only way they get so many in. I guess in WHU’s case it helps getting the stadium practically free.

Club should just extend the £399 price to all across the Chapel but even then the take up in the Itchen South is lower than I expected.

Apparently all but 6 clubs have a waiting list and that’s why a stadium expansion won’t be on the cards ever.

Last season was my first as a ST holder after moving down last year. Cant say I'll ever not have one as long as Im living within a reasonable distance. Like someone said, its the optimism beforehand and the walk to the ground thats the best part. And its worth the poor losses for one or two surprise wins against big boys imo

I renewed my ticket before the deadline, and got an acknowledgement email. But I kept getting renewal reminders,  and now one today 'too late to renew, but can still buy.'

Anyone else getting these in spite of renewing?  Makes me worry they've cocked up the admin.

Just in case anyone else is worried, I spoke to the ticket office. Apparently there was an error with some people who had already renewed still being sent reminder emails etc.

So i can go back to logging on to the transfer gossip,  hoping for a striker, and looking forward to another 'confident' season start.

It's really difficult to put much context on these figures, though - we are at the top end of the most expensive and the bottom end of the cheapest, so are we expensive or cheap? We know that the expensive ones are one single block in the Kingsland (less than 1000 tickets), and the cheapest are, what, 4 blocks in the corner?

There should be some sort of independently-verified study which provides the median season ticket price for each club, so people who want to lament the insanity of it all can't just use the most expensive prices as justification for their arguments, while the clubs themselves can't just say "we've got these really cheap tickets, what are you complaining about" when some of them have probably offered them for seats sat in the burger kiosk.

Funny enough, I’m the opposite.

Had one for as long as I can remember, dating back to the dell etc. But I gave it up a couple of seasons back (for a variety of reasons), and I don’t think I’d ever get one again.

Not in the PL anyway.
