It’s really, really good defending to hold that line, but i always feel like it’s riddled with risk. Maybe I’m just old fashioned and would rather take the risk out and just win the first knock. I guess in the day and age of VAR, your chances of catching them offside are higher.

Chez Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Tella simply can't control a football. Having another mare so far.
Turkish Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Tella has been awful, the only blip on a good first 20 mins

Saint_clark Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 That needs to be a booking for milner when this play develops ..
Dman Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Minamino, why aren’t you celebrating you weird twat. You were here 6 months and hardly payed 😂
Saint_clark Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Knew that little prick would score after being awful for us.
trousers Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Cocked up that counter attack with the over hit pass from Tella Bollocks... 1-1
obelisk Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 And there it is. McCarthy beaten on the near post for a change. 2
Lighthouse Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Fair play, he showed more restraint and respect after that than some players have after five years here. 2
FarehamSaintJames Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 A REAL keeper, one with any fucking ability, would’ve saved that.
Sheaf Saint Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Might have been given as a foul but it's about time one of these things went in our favour. Remember the goal Spurs scored after Tino was absolutely clattered from behind in the build up?

nta786 Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 (edited) I’ll be the first to say it…(or not) Would Forster have saved that? Another near post goal conceded by McCarthy… Edited 17 May, 2022 by nta786 Okay I’m not the first to say it…
Dman Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 So glad we gave McCarthy a new contract. Another 2/3 years of anything fired at the near post going in 🙂 1 1
trousers Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 The sort of shot that Forster has been saving since coming in for McCarthy...?

trousers Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 (edited) I'm sensing the floodgates are on the cusp of opening here Edited 17 May, 2022 by trousers
Sheaf Saint Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 McCarthy beaten at his near post from a very tight angle. Never saw that coming.

Dorchester Saint Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 (edited) LOL at the teddy throwers who were daft enough to believe that we would retain or even capitalise on a jammy 1-0 lead v Liverpool. We will fold like good little whipping boys now, because the title race simply MUST go down to the wire. Edited 17 May, 2022 by Dorchester Saint
Saints foreva Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 St. Mary's has to be the worst home atmosphere in the league. All you can hear is the away end, every single game. 3 1
obelisk Posted 17 May, 2022 Posted 17 May, 2022 Any guesses yet how many Liverpool will get? I predicted 5 at the start.
