I've been impressed with Broja, working hard, causing probems, but fluffed his two chances.

JWP battling hard there. There is some effort at least.

Those games in hand for teams below us is worrying, especially knowing we won’t pick up any more points this season.

For context, albeit slightly unrelated, Salernitana for Serie A have been bottom two all season, they’ve suddenly picked up fifteen or so points in seven games and are now outside the relegation zone.

Could we’ll happen to us.

Diallo has stopped doing the thing he did well at times last season. Running with the ball. Just short passes now.

RH just coaches any creativity out of players.

"Yes Lionel, peach of a run and goal but let's have you working on 8 yard backwards passes to Bednarek, for the next 2 weeks.

Both Armstrong's have been fucking shit today.

Ruining the good name that David Armstrong made.

Agreed. Stuart giving the ball away cheaply and Adam just looking very rusty. My stream is behind so not seen his dissallowed goal yet

Was saying this to someone last night. Luckily Leeds' run in is horrendous but there is still a viable scenario in which we go down. I don't think we'll get another point.

Crazy how on Brentford’s free-kick Toney just peeled off in full-view of everyone and no-one did anything at all. Better product could have seen another goal conceded.

Bednerak has been dreadful in this game. Constantly stepping out of position and being second to the ball. Great finish by Armstrong shame it was offside but needs to find himself in that position more often, just peeling off the defenders shoulder.

Same defensively not been good enough. How can we be so wide open. Ralph needs to tweak the formation so we are more solid. Both goals preventable once again. We need a big reaction in the second half now. Hopefully Adam Armstrong will get a couple in second half as he was unlucky with the one that was chalked off for offside.

It's the terrible defending that is inexcusable.  For me that is Ralph's shortcoming and something he should take responsibility for.

The midfield is so fat up that the CBs have no help whatsoever when Brentford break. I was worried Ralph might pull a formation like this when he said that you can't man mark Erickson, He may be right about that , but you can at least try and get within 10 yards of him.

Crazy set up, but a shame that AA wasn't a yard further back when that ball broke for him,

Jesus H. Christ. Diallo you fucking prick. Don't stick you hand up because you think Broja has been fouled, see the danger and do your fucking job. Criminal. I'm sorry, but he just ain't a defensive midfielder. he doesn't have it. Always wrong side, doesn't track runners...

Saints really needed to get one back before half time but as an attacking force they're pretty slow and predictable. Nice finish by AA but he'd left a foot dangling offside.

The back four just do not work well together. Fullbacks miles up the pitch, CBs drop deep, players kept onside.

Trying to concede any time the opposition have the ball.

Don't get Saints desperation to slowly work the ball out wide. We don't look the slightest bit threatening. For all the time on the ball only efforts i can remember is 2 offside shots and a JWP shot which Raya made a camera save for.

Going to need favours from Arsenal and Chelsea to stay up at this rate which is truly pathetic from position we were in in March. Just saw Ings has at least done us a favour and made it harder for Burnley to catch us.

Why do we always try to walk the ball into the f-ing net?!  And why is our wonderful set piece taker JWP only able to find their goalie at corners?!  We are shit all over the field and this is made worse by the stretched system Ralph insists on us playing. The CB’s have to step forward to supply a very static and flat front line and in doing so leave us totally exposed at the back for a break. Ralph seems incapable of seeing this!!!

No-one seems to track players off the ball or try to be first to the ball when it comes in. Players too quick to just stop playing and wait for the whistle or for someone else to tidy up.

What a shit half.

We're playing a 2-man defence with two of the most out-of-form defenders in the league, Forster has reverted to type (i.e. shit), Diallo nowhere to be seen most of the time, and our attackers don't want to take risks when attacking.

Brentford should be out of sight.

If we had confident strikers we'd have scored a couple ourselves. Problem is everytime we're put under pressure we look like conceding. This'll be either 3-0 or 2-2.

I think I've just clicked why JWPs corners are so ineffective. It's not down to his delivery, as we know he can put world class crosses into the box. It's the fact that our set piece routines which we work on all week in training are versus our own keepers both of whom NEVER come off their line for corners. So in games when you come up against a keeper like Raya who loves to come and claim the ball, our well rehearsed routines are cut off at the source.
