A new ground to visit.
Anyone got any other positives?

Only if you are lucky enough to get a ticket!

Otherwise, only positive I can think of is that this season is now nearly coming to an end.

McCarthy, KWP, Stephens, Salisu, Perraud, Romeu, Stuart Armstrong, JWP, Diallo, Elyounoussi, Adams

I’d play the above in a 4-1-4-1 shape.
Give Adam Armstrong a run around too please at some point.
Long is a joke and Broja has truly gone off the boil.
Drop Fraser, nothing against him but he ain’t staying with us after this season so let’s give McCarthy the minutes so he remembers what it’s like to be in goal again in a match.

I think this will be Brentford 2-0 Saints. Eriksen (who loves a goal against us), and then Toney too.

We are joint 3rd on Eriksens list of teams which he has the most goal contributions against and there is no team he has beaten more than us.

Another powderpuff capitulation awaits. No doubt the likes of Long, Tella, Redmond and Bednarek will be front and center.

Wasn't the reverse fixture our biggest win of the season so far?  If our strikers hit form again it could be yet another win and 3 points.  No, really, it could.

I can't see any points from Liverpool or Leicester (unless Leicester's European exploits mean they put out a crappy team but even that would probably beat us right now) so Brentford marks the last chance to score some points. However unlikely that seems right now, I'd take a draw if you offered it to me.

We need to mix the team up. Forster, KWP, Lyanco, Salisu, Perraud, JWP, Romeu, Diallo, Smallbone, Armstrong, Adams. I'd try that. More solid in midfield (JWP could even push forward with Romeu and Diallo holding) and I'd like to see the Lyanco/Salisu partnership. Adams up top still as, really, we have very little else with AA out of favour, Long shyte, Broja out of form and Walcott...reminiscing of days gone by.

More of the same though I fear. 2-0 Brentford.

Looking forward to a new ground and a day out in London in the sun. Could happily skip the football.

We could do our first double of the season but won’t hold my breath.

Same. Hopefully decent weather for  beer gardens

Please play some youngsters as I can’t stomach the same old shit over again.

Also people talk about Ralph not playing his own team and yet he puts Perraud, Diallo, Armstrong, Lyanco, Broja and Dyjenpo on the bench every time and these are the players he brought in.

Had enough now Ralph. While I’m moaning I can’t see JWP, KWP and Salisu staying next season as this ain’t ambition for them.

The area around Kew Bridge is really, really nice. Plenty of pubs in and around that area, Chiswick as well.

Just one thing about the away end - they don't sell alcohol for some reason. Not a problem for me as I'm in the home end...

They were the worst team I've seen us play this season (other than us at times...) in the home game but I think it's a pretty different side now.

Suddenly at the bottom of the 9-15th mini league as well, so really could use a win here.

Well after this weekends set of results and our (yet again) terrible performance, perhaps this lot might actually register they are not incapable of being relegated and might actually turn up with some energy, passion and fight? Must be some sort of record to do with longest odds against relegation with three games to go that would be so Saints to achieve.

Have been a Ralph supporter for so long but am ready for a change now. Inexcusable Adam Armstrong not given an opportunity to prove himself yesterday from the start (suggests to me Ralph holds personal grudges at the expense of better team performances).

2-0 Brentford.

Asked my spurs mate who went a few weeks ago and they sell Asahi on draft in the away end. He also says it’s the worst new ground he’s ever been to.

Regulation home win against team picked out of a hat by clueless non-tactician mystifyingly kept in place despite clear case of emperor’s new clothes. 2-0

How did the 'clueless non-tactician' manage to win 4-1 vs Brentford the last time the clubs met?

Probably magic. Picking players out of hats and all... 😉

It's hard (and understandable) to feel positive about getting a result in any fixture right now and I fear Rasmus Ankersen may be squirming in his seat at the weekend. Just 270 more minutes to endure, then we can all knock it on the head for a few months.

Manure to batter them tonight several injuries and a red card hopefully then we might just scrape an honourable draw but a double is very much on the cards here We March On up the Saints!!

Ah ok then, must have changed then. Was in the away end earlier on in the season for another game. Did think it was a bit odd tbh

Were they missing some players? I remember the original game was postponed due to the farcical "covid cases within the squad" .

Hopefully a tough game at Old Trafford tonight and our extra preparation time might work in our favour

Hows the weather in the delightful Hamlet of Pedantry this Bank Holiday Monday 😃

Shouldn't that be a lower case 'h' for 'hamlet?!

And an apostrophe in 'hows'?

And a question mark at the end of your question?

From what I can see from Brentford tonight against Untd is that all the play for Brentford is going through Ericson...which is still a bit of a worry for us.!

I expect so, but as it’s a Bank Holiday, I really could not be bothered to turn the lights on in that department. Sorry.
