Just sod off Ralph and take your clueless bunch of useless twats with you. I am sick of the aimless crap that your are serving up week after week. You should be ashamed.

Relegation seem a certainty next season if we leave this bloke in charge

Just pick the best XI Ralph. Fucking shit. Sick of the sight of Ralph and his oh do clever lineups and tactics.

People said that when he refused to drop Tino and play Perraud. Now he’s been forced into that, it still hasn’t helped. Honestly, this is 90% on the players. They’re substandard, mentally weak and make regular individual errors.

Fuck off Ralph!

I think he has done quite well to keep us up with the worst bunch of strikers I have ever seen play for Saints in the PL

Without decent players we will never prosper unfortunately

Let see what happens next season but I am not hopeful

Down to 15th and its really difficult to see us picking up another point this season. Hopeless. Could easily finish 17th.

We've steadily went backwards this season and for that reason I'm struggling to see why we should persist with Ralph. Let him bring his retirement forward.

An example of how badly Saints have regressed is the performance of S Armstrong. Broja is a shadow of his earlier form too. What do the coaches do to the players that actually makes them worse?

How many of our coaches are ex GKs ?

Yup, this. They're on the beach.

I'd play Walcott at this stage, at least he'd give 100%

Palace spent £75m+ net in the summer Whilst I think the players look lost at the moment we've no right to be beating them as we spend fuck all.  We string a few wins together and people change their expectations.  Our expectations should be low because we spend no money and expect to compete.

Palace started the match below us in the table.

I do not know how long you have been following Saints Lighthouse but in the last sixty years in the top division we have the worst strikers and creative players I have seen

I give you a dozen players over those 60 years who would put the present ones to shame and no doubt you could too

FWIW; I don’t disagree with this. They’re a fucking joke. However, it’s literally the manager and coaches job to improve these things.

Come on, he picked that plank Redmond, left him on for 90 minutes, took Tella off and  and pushed Redmond  up front instead of giving AA a go.

I just look at the selection and subs today.

If it were a footballing rescue movie and all hero Shane Long had to do was score to save the hostages, they'd all die in a blazing inferno. He gets into roughly the right area of the park out of experience, not expectation. Even he clearly doesn't think he's ever going to score. He's the guy you bring on for nusiance value to see out a game, and he's good at that.

If you're not picking Broja, then it's AA or even Tella to start there.

Stu is also a starter. Having *both* Tella and Redmond is a light weight choice. It Stu and one of them or Mo.

Having weakened our starting line up, Broja comes on only for Ralph to remove the one guy likely to give him some service in Adams. So we're left with Redmond and Tella for that, and that's not what either of them do.

Another weakened set up.

It was no surprise when Palace began to dominate. We don't have a lot on the bench to add steel to the midfield. Smallbone probably being the option if shiifting to 3 there.

Broja offered a few good moments after coming on. But became isolated very quickly. Also, as it went on, he was miles away from getting up, with Redmond being by far the furtherst forward. So, Palace just kept coming at us.

We didn't look as though we had any plan to counter Palace, and were limping it out for the draw. Ralph's pacing and pouting lip couldn't turn it around, and that more points dropped form a winning position. That's the disapointment. After all this time, and all those promising starts, we can't learn to see things out.

That second half performance was an embarrassment. Wrong subs at the wrong time. Tella was on about 45 mins to long.
we resorted to hoof football because we completely lost the midfield, no penetration from wide, nothing up top.

I don't think he knows what it is. On top of that our first XI is still poor. A top GK and CB would at least sort the back 7 out but the attacking 4 player choices we have are rubbish. Championship strikers, youngsters under pressure and fricking Shane Long. There's so much surgery to be done and we don't have a pot to piss in apparently. Short of selling JWP and spending the money I fail to see us improve next season and think we will be in for a long, bad season.

I like Ralph but I'd still like to see fresh ideas.

It’s because he is a very limited manager. It’s quite simple really

True. But it's a more balanced team shape of substandard, mentally weak players, prone to individual errors. 🙂

Henri Manie I think...

I stuck a tenner on at 6/1 when it is was 1-1.

Absolutely appalling second half. Not sure we had a shot on target. The lack of creativity was evident today. All we had were a couple of scuffed half chances from the edge of the box in 45 minutes.

Tella was ineffective, Redmond painfully average. Romeu kept giving the ball away. Not much blame on the actual strikers because they were largely feeding of scraps, although we did seem to get worse once Shane Long went off which is telling.

We were 9th in the live table at HT.

15th place at FT.

Just highlights how much of a missed opportunity these past few games have been. A bit more effort and common sense from Ralph and the players and we could have finished very strongly. Instead we will be just above relegation zone, hopefully.
