So sad, what a horrendous thing to happen on what should have been a joyous occasion. Don’t know how anyone can deal with such an awful thing. God bless you cristiano, idolised by so many kids, so tragic something like this would happen to yours

My wife was 7months pregnant and lost the child...... its horrendous ...so my heart goes out to him .

Was my biggest fear going through the pregnancy and not sure how I would have coped. Poor bloke.

It is a tragic event all the money and fame means nothing. I hope the baby girl pulls through.

He is high profile, but there are many people out there who are going through the same grief who deserve our thoughts.

My mother had to carry a child for the full course knowing it would be still born, I don't know the full details of when she found out, it would have been quite late. I never have asked her, it was news to me as she only confided to my wife once. We knew something had happened but didn't want to upset herby asking. That was over 60 years ago and she still has the mental scars.

Poor guy, having a young child myself I can't imagine what he must be going through. Apparently Liverpool fans are planning a minute applause in the childs memory tonight which is a nice gesture.

That's a classy touch. At times like this, rivalries must be put to one side. I can't imagine how he and his wife must feel, just awful.

As a father of 18 month old twins I feel this on a personal level. Twin pregnancies are hard and there's so much that can go wrong during pregnancy and childbirth. It made me stress and worry when it should have been a happy time. Thought to CR7 and his family.
