Don't know where you're getting yours from but you're already better than the Saints official twitter.

You can't tell me there wouldn't be media students at Solent uni who would be up for putting on commentary for the women's games as part of their course?

Saints OS on the ball, as ever. Their media team really couldn’t give a fuck about the womens team.

Come on we know it will be like that after the final whistle has gone!

It's so frustrating. There's clearly interest enough to make us one of the most well supported women's team in the league, but the complete lack of interest from the main core of the club is stifling it.

I just cannot follow that. Just cannot bring myself to do it. 😂

Even though they say we have 2 more games to get the win, if we do not get it tonight. Not true a point tonight and another point will do it with our superior goal difference.

we will win tonight though.

Ipswich are playing Oxford on Sunday, so a draw there effectively gives Saints the title even if they win zero more points.

Title should get wrapped up tonight though.

I would like to see a nice 5/6-0, with the floodgates opening.

Saints all over them. Pharaoh the goal but we really should have more. Their keeper has been sharp but they have a few weak links and Saints have the pace and sharpness.

Thank you for the updates. The Twitter feed has not even called half time yet!

We took the lead 16 minutes ago on 44 minutes, and our Twitter feed has still not even said it is half time 🙄

Yeah it has. There’s an image for it.

Would be nice if the trophy was there tonight. Anyone know if it is. That’s how you make things extra special and make memories. 🏆

Wow! Tied up the title faster than I thought they were going to. So focused and determined.

So good to see Southampton and Champions in the same image. 😊

Massive game to come. COYR!

We could not even do that in league 1 and the championship 😆

Mind you if the image is to be believed, we did have help from a giant sized Provan. I hope there's no investigation into us having super powered players. 😊

Great game, and great atmosphere too!
Saints have some really good players in that squad, 17-Kendall looks like she could have real quality, played some passes to switch play I haven’t seen at St Mary’s since Schneiderlin was at his best.

Interested to see how we fare against Wolves, haven’t kept up with the northern section so no idea how they compare

Although Pompey hit the outside of the post and had a shot tipped over towards the end as they applied a bit of pressure there was never any real danger. Saints were guilty of a few tired passes later on but were still working hard. Some good players in Saint's team who will be fine at a higher level. I particularly like Millie Mott. Pompey had a few players who'd be fine at a lower level, like their no 23. The keeper and 13 stood out for them.

It's great but will mean nothing if we don't beat Wolves unfortunately,  got to keep the momentum going for another month

Will be nice for our trophy cabinet to have something to add to the collection

Bit ridiculous that you can win your league and possibly not get promoted. Both us and Wolves should be going up, or at least the loser of that game plays the second bottom side in the Championship in a playoff

It must be a first for this forum too - first ever women's match thread?

Well done ladies, very much deserved, hopefully promoted next month.
