No evidence that it touched cork. Goal is right to be given. He had a hand on each of his shoulders. He immobilised jwp and gained a foot in leverage for his header. If you don't think that's a foul then what is a foul? Blatant as they come 3

Quite, there is so little balance with Ralph from the fans. It's one extreme or the other. Edited 21 April, 2022 by Saint86 1

Saint_clark Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Lino gave nothing there from a better, unobstructed position.
BotleySaint Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 More dark arts. But you can't blame them, they are fighting for their lives and actually want to win. 15 mins of feigned injuries and dramatic falls coming up.. 2
Vancouver Saint Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Just not happening. We've not done enough to deserve it either from what I've seen. Prove me wrong in the last 10 minutes Saints - this has been dismal. 1
BotleySaint Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Jay Rod goes down but gets up when ref ignores him. They are all in on it. 2

I think it's because Adams can put himself about a lot and intimates defenders. When playing 4-5-1 broja may look tall, but he's actually a bit of a fairy strength wise, albeit a pacey one. We're a far better team with Adams playing up top. Be it a 2 or a 1. (I don't hate redmond, I actually think he's useful and unlucky to be so out of favour). 2

nta786 Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 If we can get a goal in the next 5 feel like they could cave, but at same time we need some luck here, a dodgy goal of some sort
obelisk Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Saints completely outfought by Burnley. A better team and this would have been another heavy defeat.
Appy Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Shite selection, shite formation and shite performance. Just because we fluked a win on Saturday doesn’t mean you pick the same team again, shambles. 2
adrian lord Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 We really don’t look like scoring, our attacks are very weak and inept.

nta786 Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 xG wouldn’t have picked up that Jay Rod cross, that should have been a goal. Good timing of the run by him but again we are sliced open too easily
Saint_clark Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 What's incredible is that Ralph just doesn't seem to understand when he should stick with the same team and when he should make a change. 2

obelisk Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Saints just not capable of applying any attacking pressure at all. It's as if they're happy to keep it at 2-0.

Saint_clark Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 LOL at the high pitched scream from a Burnley fan "he ain't come off ref!!!!" when KWP leaves the pitch at the nearest point as he's supposed to instead of walking across the pitch.
Saint86 Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 KWP has been on of our best players ffs. We're losing 2-0 with 10min to go... Take of one of our below average cb's ffs.

Wade Garrett Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Brilliant Ralph. 2 down 10 minutes to go. Swap right-backs. What an absolute fuckwit he is. 3 1
Baird of the land Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Great bring on a right back rather than an attacking player. Caps a truly appalling management display.
harvey Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 No doubt we'll be peppering the Burnley goal in the closing stages.

Fabrice Fernandes no.1 fan Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Such an odd team shape to just persist with, so much of the game they’ve had 2 men (full back and wide midfielders) doubling up on our wing backs, or we’ve used our 10s to cover them and had 9 behind the ball and still done nothing 1
Saint86 Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 (edited) I can only assume we're trying to relegate Everton, whilst simultaneously putting our cb's in the shop window, and trialing forster for a new contract. Also, think how happy Jay and corky will be if they stay up 🥰 Otherwise this makes no sense 😑 Edited 21 April, 2022 by Saint86 1

OttawaSaint Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Burnley enjoying themselves. We look like the team in the relegation battle... 1
nta786 Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Have to say our most successful seasons came playing a 4231, some of the best teams in the world use a 433, yet I’m not sure I’ve seen us use these ever.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Ralph's really been shown up here by a stand-in manager with a weak set of players. I would like to think this is a tactical defeat where the club thinks Burnley will be less of a threat than Everton, but obviously this is all about inept management and very weak mentality in most of our players. I think this is one of the most unenjoyable seasons I've experienced since our relegation season and there are few players I would like to see in the side next season. What a load of crap. 3
Sheaf Saint Posted 21 April, 2022 Posted 21 April, 2022 Just now, Baird of the land said: What you think all the other subs got injured warming up? No, but perhaps KWP was spent and the only logical like for like change was Tino.
