No one would have predicted at start of the season that Shane Long would be ahead of Adam Armstrong in the pecking order, particularly after that goal at Goodison Park too.

Absolutely. Was a great finish too. He's just totally out of favour and confidence right now. Feel bad for him.

Given our current formation, Long is the obvious sub there due to the type of player he is, not because he's necessarily a better striker than AA, per se.
