Pamplemousse Posted 25 June, 2022 Posted 25 June, 2022 Also the media team normally announce a date for revealing the kit, no? So that will come first

Hard to justify £50 + but might consider it if its for two years. Yeah the 1 year cycle is ridiculous, especially at the moment. Seem to remember Everton starting the trend in this country? Could be wrong.

You could be on to something here, 30 June is the anniversary of Lawrence v Texas (2003), and you’d hope the club media zeitgeist crew would be alive to this.

It’s also the 20th anniversary of us beating Oxford United to scoop the Bill Halsey Memorial cup. I wonder if the club are planning something to celebrate?

Saint86 Posted 25 June, 2022 Posted 25 June, 2022 Didn't someone say it was being released at midday on Friday?

I wonder if the club are planning something to celebrate? Would have thought a specially embroided retro shirt is the lease they can do. Mind you I'm still waiting for the club shop to stock a Daily Express 5a side retro shirt as well. Perhaps we can add this to the repertoire of songs when playing mouthy Big 6 teams "Bill Halsey Memorial Cup.. you'll never win that..". 1
samhammond Posted 26 June, 2022 Posted 26 June, 2022 Kit release has to be this coming week, surely? Players start returning tomorrow for pre-season I think, got to be soon.
CB Fry Posted 26 June, 2022 Posted 26 June, 2022 The social media comedy skit thing is probably related to returning to training. I reckon Tuesday.
darren2 Posted 26 June, 2022 Posted 26 June, 2022 My sources tell me the kit will be released sometime after today! 2
Disco Stu Posted 26 June, 2022 Posted 26 June, 2022 (edited) I reckon it will be released in July because Hummel alluded to it on twitter when asked by Everton fans about their kit release. We'd both be using the same supply chains I would have thought. Edited 26 June, 2022 by Disco Stu 1

DT Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Goalie kit promo subtly swerving who would wear it (step away, Alex) by having a female player.
craigthesaint Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 So my itk post back in early May was pretty close then afterall. Such a shame that I have no player itk's
Saint Garrett Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 It’s ok. Sponsor looks rubbish, and too much white for me, but on the flip side nice to have something a bit different. Don’t hate it, don’t love it, 3
DT Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Taking bets on time taken for first person to moan about stripes

Wouldn't really be my choice but if we go for that then it could be worse. One thing for sure it isn't going to be the traditional red and white normal stripes this year. 4

beatlesaint Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 The Keegan "Patrick" kit in reverse. No problem with that......altho i do hope the back isnt a plain all over red panel 1
Saint_Tony Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Sponsor looks shit, as with most shirts, but it's different and fresh. Best home shirt in years

JCBSaint Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Can I be the first to moan? Ok not moan, it’s an alright kit but not ideal , too much white as already stated, had it have been reversed then it would of looked even better. Marmite i guess for most people. If as talked about clubs are going on a two year cycle then we have it for two seasons now! Anyhow that’s get on with having a better season than last and try and win something this year! COYS 1
Bad Wolf Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 I don't mind us moving away from the stripes every now and again. Stripes are part of our identity for sure but as long as it's not more than once every 4-5 years, I'm all for trying another design. I know we didn't have stripes the season before last but because it was an anniversary and a sash is still a kind of stripe, I'll include it. Don't we usually announce the kits all together?

Pamplemousse Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Maybe I'm in a minority but I've always preferred us having more white than red on our kit

Master Bates Posted 29 June, 2022 Author Posted 29 June, 2022 Loving the keeper kit, orange and stuff
angelman Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Personally don't care what we look like on the pitch clothes wise, so long as we can play decent football. 1
STEVEADAMS Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 I like it I just really do not like a central badge 2
Dorchester Saint Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 (edited) Not a fan but I don’t get excited about kits (although my fave is still the 2010 sash kit) this kit reminds me of the 99/2000 Sports Apparel kit What concerns me more is seeing McCarthy I’m the goalkeepers kit, which in my mind says he is No1… Encouraging to see JWP front & centre…although we know this doesn’t automatically mean he’s staying. Edited 29 June, 2022 by Dorchester Saint
nta786 Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 I like the kit but when did kits become £55 rather than £50? Also 29th July is a long time to wait until you receive your kit
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 29 June, 2022 Posted 29 June, 2022 Not sure about the pattern on the white 2
