Lighthouse Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Newcastle fans singing, "Mike Ashley, he’s coming for you!" At Chelsea. 😆

Suhari Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Wow. We are poor. So weak in midfield, so feeble defensively. WTF is going on?

Same setup same squad but gone from individuals playing passes like Brazil to playing passes like a pub team. The issue is our players confidence and the inability to overcome doubts and fears once something goes wrong. It’s 100% psychological but it’s frustrating as hell because it hasn’t been addressed over the past 12 months. Once we slump no one gets them out of it quick enough and it takes a large break to do so. It’s where we miss a captain with real leadership skills 1 1
OttawaSaint Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Great. So now we face City in our worst streak of the season. Just effing great...

I think by playing smallbone in the 10, Ralph was expecting Watford to sit deep amd wanted a little more creativity in there. the trouble is, with Adams in there as well, they’re both holding the same space and neither are running off the shoulder (nor are our wingers). Id say that’s 100% tactical. I get the concept, not working though.
USaint Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Roy Hodgson tactical masterclass of playing against a shit defence.
Micky Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Hopefully 35 points is enough, we are bloody woeful. 1
Toadhall Saint Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Forster just has to do better there - aaaarrrgghhhh!
Mr X Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Ffs thought Ralph said no more turning up in first gear and underestimating the opposition after villa?

AlexLaw76 Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 This just sums us up. We are doing NOTHING different to the last couple of games, apart from making ourselves worse by playing Smallbone up top instead of an actual striker. This is why Ralph will never be a top manager in this league. 1

Saint_dane Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 the whole set up is wrong and we can all see it - Ralph needs to be bold here. Zero pace up front, get Broja on Redmond on the right for Smallbone who is offering little don't leave it until the 70th min
Saints foreva Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 3 strikers on the bench and we're playing Will Smallbone upfront. 🤣 1
obelisk Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 To be fair it's no more than Watford deserve. Saints drifting around aimlessly without a clue.
Sheaf Saint Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 It's a good finish but what is Perraud doing running away from him to give him the space?
Ed Rooney Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 (edited) One up front at home against Watford Manager with his trying to be clever head on again Not surprised at all with the outcome Edited 13 March, 2022 by Ed Rooney 1

OttawaSaint Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Our pressing has gone to shit too. We're a second too slow and getting run ragged.

Lighthouse Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Redmond and Armstrong for Smallbone and Moi IMO. 1

Dman Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 Well….. dropping Broja has worked a treat, hasn’t it. 2
Teddeer Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 (edited) I'm afraid this is what happens when you swap a powerful player like Broja for Smallbone. Edited 13 March, 2022 by Teddeer

nta786 Posted 13 March, 2022 Posted 13 March, 2022 My god it should have been 3-0 Watford jesus our passing is horrible Is it because of the sun? Wtf is going on
