At least Watford seem pretty clueless on the break.

They don't need much of a clue against us when we our own worst enemy, what coaching has Ralph been doing with them recently?

It’s not the tactics that’s the issue it’s the mentality of the players. Same setup same squad but gone from individuals playing passes like Brazil to playing passes like a pub team. The issue is our players confidence and the inability to overcome doubts and fears once something goes wrong. It’s 100% psychological but it’s frustrating as hell because it hasn’t been addressed over the past 12 months. Once we slump no one gets them out of it quick enough and it takes a large break to do so.

It’s where we miss a captain with real leadership skills

I think by playing smallbone in the 10, Ralph was expecting Watford to sit deep amd wanted a little more creativity in there.

the trouble is, with Adams in there as well, they’re both holding the same space and neither are running off the shoulder (nor are our wingers).

Id say that’s 100% tactical. I get the concept, not working though.

This just sums us up.  We are doing NOTHING different to the last couple of games, apart from making ourselves worse by playing Smallbone up top instead of an actual striker.

This is why Ralph will never be a top manager in this league.

Great. So now we face City in our worst streak of the season. Just effing great...

We played City twice in a row after “that” game against Leicester - was pretty competitive too - here’s hoping

the whole set up is wrong and we can all see it - Ralph needs to be bold here.

Zero pace up front, get Broja on

Redmond on the right for Smallbone who is offering little

don't leave it until the 70th min

One up front at home against Watford

Manager with his trying to be clever head on again

Not surprised at all with the outcome

It's a good finish but what is Perraud doing running away from him to give him the space?

He was caught between marking two attackers by himself

Our pressing has gone to shit too. We're a second too slow and getting run ragged.

By a team that is probably going to get relegated.  Just think what city will do to this lot.

Then he needed to pick one and mark him properly, rather than put himself in nomansland between the two.

He's the fullback so the guy at the back post is his.

I think it is right, we have been very blunt in the last couple of games, like (as you would expect) teams have changed how they play against us.

Any particular reason why you didn't seem too concerned about the line up before kick off...?
