SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Losing 2-0 to swansea. And 1 goal from our own Nathan Dyer! lol
hamster Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Thank **** for that. Do they have to give it back now? Didn't the dozy *****s lose it once? I seem to remember a story about it turning up in The Bird In Hand pub in Horndean, of course I could be wrong.
hamster Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Who were you playing today? Oi Knobby, we went out to the best team ion the whole wide universe and the World. Swansea aren't even the best team in Wales, maybe not even the best in Swansea. Notice how I didn't bite there?
hamster Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 /\ They were the best team in Ampshire today though weren't they Knobby?
Junction 9 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 /\ They were the best team in Ampshire today though weren't they Knobby? And next saturday I'd imagine.
hamster Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 And next saturday I'd imagine. For you J9, I am now off to The Brook to drink my Guinness until it is half full/empty. Next week will be better if we win after today's result. That is why I lov e football.
PES Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Surely were still the FA cup holders until someone else actually lifts it? Besides history cannot be erased.
Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Surely were still the FA cup holders until someone else actually lifts it? Besides history cannot be erased. Indeed it cannot, but as of today you are incapable of lifting it this year. As such, you are the holders in situe only. You under all certainty will not retain it thus you are at the end of your reign.

Surviving in the Prem however, is a bit more worrying (Though you'll be pleased to know I think we'll be alright!)
Matt SFC Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Agreed. Not one Pompey fan I've spoken too thought we'd win it again anyway. So not bothered. and you thought you were gonna win it at this stage last season?
Denzil Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 For all those on Facebook.. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=46668976876#/group.php?gid=46668976876&ref=mf
PES Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 and you thought you were gonna win it at this stage last season? No I did not. We lucked our way to the Cup. For a club like Pompey to win it they would have to. However the record book will alway state Portsmouth FC FA CUP winners 2008. Nothing you, I or anyone else can do to change that, not now, not ever.
saint lard Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Well, unless war breaks out soon you wont be cup holders again for a while.
St Landrew Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Who were you playing today? Yeah, I noticed we didn't lose LA.
hamster Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Well, unless war breaks out soon you wont be cup holders again for a while. I laughed at that SL.
OldNick Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Surely were still the FA cup holders until someone else actually lifts it? Besides history cannot be erased. One thing it proves though is that if Pompey win the FA cup go and hide in a bunker, 1939 and there was world war and 2008 we have the worst financiaql crisis since then and probably before
Nadia Sllim Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 getting to the Cup Final is a curse, us, Millwall, West Ham and now the Skates.
PES Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 getting to the Cup Final is a curse, us, Millwall, West Ham and now the Skates. hmmmmm, never thought about that. Got me worried now Nadia.
saintwarwick Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 hmmmmm, never thought about that. Got me worried now Nadia. You should be with you being three points of a relegation spot
saint lard Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Lost against Villa and now 1-0 down against Fulham. I think they really could be in dire trouble...hopefully. Takes my mind off how shyte we are.
Linvoy's Afro Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 I think they really could be in dire trouble...hopefully. Takes my mind off how shyte we are. Right back at you.
saint lard Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 2-0 to Fulham,brightens my p1ss poor day a tad
Thedelldays Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 such a shame that we are going down...the derbys next year would have been great
CB Fry Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 3-0. This is not good. I'm worried Adams will get the boot too soon, be replaced by someone like Curbishley who then keeps them up. We need Adams to scrape a few draws to keep him in the job, and then royally f u ck it up in March and April. Any half decent manager should be able to keep that squad in the division. It's going to take some effort from Adams to relegate them.
saint lard Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 (edited) Seven days ago, Portsmouth took on Swansea City at home, and lost two-nil. Portsmouth 0-2 Swansea Attendance: 17,357 Today, Southampton took on Swansea City at home, and drew two-two. Southampton 2-2 Swansea Attendance: 17,627 Not only the scores of these games, but the two attendances speak volumes. Edited 31 January, 2009 by saint lard
hamster Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Adams is ****ing a clown. Crikey! That's not ****ing funny IMO

I am sure that many on here wouldn't have fancied our chances a couple of months back, but would we fancy playing the skates right now? You bet, and down at they're **** hole too.
