Holmes_and_Watson Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Don;t know if the keeper would have got it had it not been for the deflection. Don;t really care. We've come into this one after a quiet opening spell.
Dorchester Saint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 So we’re now at the point where we moan about how we score….lol!! 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 really good closing down by us all across the pitch there. Took a while for Newcastle's error, but we stuck at it.

Saints foreva Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Of fucking course Wood scores. So fucking Saintsy.

Sheaf Saint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Romeu could have stopped that cross if he'd got tighter to Shelvey.
nta786 Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Literally everyone said he would score as well Should have stuck some money on it typical
bpsaint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Now I’m not going to give Fraser too much grief, but that cross comes a long way and he’s heading it in from 6 yards out. Surely Forster could come for that?
Mr X Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Going to really tough now you have to finish teams off when you are on top 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Super Armstrong run really needed someone on the end of it.
Sheaf Saint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 We're still the better team here, despite the sunshine the commentators are blowing up Newcastle's arses.
Sheaf Saint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Oh my word. Would have been GOTS if that was a few cm lower.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 good stuff form Mo there. Nearly got his way through.

Mr X Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Been on top last 20 mins just can't find that killer touch
obelisk Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Saints never seem to look alive to opportunitied in the opponents penalty area. If that improves then Saints would be top half with no problem.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 nearly a Newcastle chance right at the end there. Newcastle seemed a touch more likely in the first few mins, but we've definitely been the better overall.
Saints foreva Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Pretty poor from us to allow Shelvey the freedom of the pitch to pick out wood for their equaliser.
obelisk Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 How the hell have Saints let them back into this?
Baird of the land Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 Typical Saintsy thing to do to giftwrap Wood a goal.. Saints have had odd brief moments of looking at it, followed by spells of being very mediocre.
ButtikonSaint Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 that's a game and a half where we don't seem to be fully on it... cute passes, little one twos but seldom creating a threating situation. Got to admit, Che's monster volley should have got us in front at half time. Stu so, so important but nothing new
qwertyell Posted 10 March, 2022 Posted 10 March, 2022 1-1 h/t. Not really at the races early on, before a quick flurry where Broja missed a sitter and Armstrong scored. Then we went back into our shell and Wood equalised with about as basic a Wood goal as you'll ever see. Finished the half quite well - seem to have finally woken up. Broja out of sorts today. Even aside from his miss, his touch hasn't been there. Salisu's been a bit wobbly too. Don't think much of Newcastle, but I'm sure we'll manage find a way to gift them this.
