Stud mark of doom Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Leeds 0 Saints 1 A key game in our history. One of the best goalkeeping performances for saints ever. And what a strike from Sir Ricky. 7

Sheaf Saint Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Perhaps this should go in the bad takes amnesty thread, but after this game I genuinely thought Tadanari Lee would be amazing for us. That cushioned header to tee up SRL was sublime. 1
woodsaint1 Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Remember watching it with a Leeds supporting mate. He was furious as they absolutely battered us 😂
Appy Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 (edited) Can I be controversial? Davis’ performance in that game is wildly overrated. Well, not wildly, but most of the shots are straight at him. Edited 3 March, 2022 by Appy 1 1

Just like that Forster performance at Arsenal, everything was pretty much straight at him. I even managed a similar performance and clean sheet in a local 5-a-side league game not so many years ago. I was embarrassed to get the praise I did afterwards.
Tamesaint Posted 5 March, 2022 Posted 5 March, 2022 I watched this match in the Leeds end with a Leeds supporting mate. Every time Leeds nearly scored I put my head in my hands like everyone else around me. The only difference was I was smiling and they were not.😁😁😁
