spyinthesky Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Isnt it nice to go along to St Marys and see a succession of decent home performances and not leave the stadium with the sound of away fans celebrating in the Northam after the visitors have scored a late goal. 1
S-Clarke Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Haven't felt this good leaving St Mary's since the Koeman days, our consistency at home has been great. 1
tunit Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 Not saying I've got anything to do with it but this is my first season as a season ticket holder after moving down from Cheshire for work. (Lifelong fan as my dad grew up here and is a fan). I shouldn't be getting used to this right? 🤣 3

ant Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 The 'fear' has pretty much gone. Even with Wolves, I felt we were more out-maneuvred than played off the park. Under no illusion it'll last forever, of course. But yeah - it feels like there's a lot more value to the ol' season ticket at present! Richly deserved after several seasons of dross at home. 1

We, as excellent shithousers in this league, were out-shithoused that afternoon. Wolves are eye-bleedingly bad to watch, but they are incredibly effective. 2

One home defeat all season when was the last time we had a record like that? Championship promotion year? Still have Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to visit so who knows how it will end but nice to see a proper positive atmosphere around the ground.

I’ll go for 4 WDL but not sure which

Yes, we are far more 'street wise' now but we are a good watch and scoring some tremendous goals.
Dr Who? Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 (edited) Home Form league PLD13 - W5 - D7 - L1 - GF18 - GA10 +8 We have scored half (9) goals since the turn of the year, just 2 months with the first 9 goals at home taken over double this time in months. Out of the 10 conceded at home only 2 of them have come since the start of 2022 with non conceded in February. It’s been 10 games at home since we last lost at home to Wolves in September in the league 12 games in all competition. Taking on board all competition we have PLD15 - W7 -D7 - L1 - GF23 - GA12 +11 Its progressively impressive, but I cannot help think that we have draw with Burnley, Leicester & Brighton. Those extra 6 points would be pretty handy right now. I cannot help to smile at the possibilities we have at picking up more points at home for the rest of the season especially in the Newcastle, Watford and Palace game, but our last 3 are tougher in Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool also the cup, no matter who we draw, if we get a quarter final at home we have a great chance with the momentum we have, but we all know this is football and it has a way of bringing back down to earth. Let’s enjoy it while we can! Edited 3 March, 2022 by Dr Who? 1
SNSUN Posted 3 March, 2022 Posted 3 March, 2022 It'll stop next week... I'm going to both the Newcastle game and the Watford game and the last time I was at SMS this season we lost to Wolves. Sorry in advance.
