OttawaSaint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Never really got out of 2nd gear. Was plenty enough for the points. We can now sit with a can of coke and look at the table like Wee Gordon. 1

Sheaf Saint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 I genuinely didn't think we would let Norwich back into this, but just like with Everton last week, I wish we could get our second goals a bit earlier to settle the nerves. 1

OttawaSaint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Great unbeaten run and to think, we were really hard done by by the ref in that Wolves game...
trousers Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 (edited) Full time. As easy as the Everton win. We're cruising. 10 games unbeaten. Marvelous Edited 25 February, 2022 by trousers 2
Saint_clark Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Shane Long came on and that meant goals, goals, goals! Definitely his movement in the box that created space for Romeu.
Croissaint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Best period of supporting saints for a long time 1
obelisk Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Another clean sheet. Just wish we could wrap these games up a bit earlier. Another game where we should have had a hat full. 1
trousers Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 If we don't get to the FA Cup final this season, given our current form, I'll be gutted 3 1
OttawaSaint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Watching the Romeu goal. Phenomenal technique, what a fucking peach it was! 3
stknowle Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Anyone know how many points we've won from winning positions lately? 8 10
Jonnyboy Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 My bitter side remembers their manager belittling us last season as if Villa were a much bigger club. Sweet win 😁 2

A furious AA comes off the bench and lashes home the winner and catapults himself into Saints folk lore,.. 3
igsey Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Up to 9th. Nosebleed territory. Don't think we're catching Wolves or Spurs but we're ahead of Villa even if they won both their games in hand, which as we all know, is the most important thing. 1
ButtikonSaint Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 We seem to be scoring at least screamer per game... love it and love Romeu... WOW ... Another win, didn't get out of first gear, we march on !!! 2
TWar Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Very routine victory, superb play from KWP, Romeu, Stu, Livra, Salisu, and JWP. Thought Broja was poor today and has had a couple of poor games recently where he has looked a little off it. Adams too I thought maybe struggled a bit outside of his goal. Either way we did very well, Romeu and JWP dominated them, as expected. 1

Saints foreva Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Comfortable win. Norwich were shite. Up the Saints.
Turkish Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 We were so much better than them it was ridiculous. Miles better in every department and felt we had another gear if needed. It reminded of those comfortable wins in the championship and league one seasons where it was never in doubt we’d win, never thought they’d score and just a question of how many we’d score. Great stuff to do that in the premier league 9

stknowle Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Blimey. Stick to the freekicks Prowsey. Heard better impressions during a sponsored silence. 3

trousers Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Shut the f**k up Neville (re: time for JWP to move to a bigger club) 12
sfc4prem Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 Carragher and Neville dropping some realism in with some fair points, actually. They said the teams above us (maybe Wolves aside) have better teams than us overall (West Ham maybe not?), so Europe would be a stretch given their points advantage over us. Didn't like the 'club that size' lark though, hit a raw nerve hearing their condescending view of us. 1
nta786 Posted 25 February, 2022 Posted 25 February, 2022 I mean Carra/Nev could have worded bits better, but for sure Ralph is pound for pound probably achieving the most out there. If they ever highlighted the frailties of the likes of Villa, Newcastle, Everton, even Leicester, clubs whose net spend blows us out the water, then what Saints are achieving is astounding. Let’s not forget the amounts Wolves/WHU have spent too. Really proud of everyone again tonight, I’ve certainly had a good spring in my step amidst this good form. 3
