I built a gazebo last summer, designed it myself completely from scratch. This'll be the biggest test it's faced thus far, if it's still standing when we play Everton I'll feel like a real man.

Being in Somerset I'm going to be bearing the brunt of this next storm. If my ancient garden fence survives I'll be mightily relieved and equally surprised  ðŸ˜–

Guess where I am?

One fence panel came down on Wednesday night - it can stay where it is until next week once these storms blow through.

So decision time, so I take the 6 hour drive from Yorkshire to Bournemouth tomorrow/Saturday or not?

Won't be fun with cross winds on the motorway catching your motor and the lorries around you. I've got  an hour drive further west tomorrow and will take my chances on that, but personally wouldn't do 6 hours.

I was emailed today by the Soton council, bin collections tomorrow suspended due to the wind (or was it Covid and injuries), any excuse not to do their job, falling trees and a maelstrom of wheelie bins were cited. Dunkirk spirit eh ?

Have you sought out any support? There are always hidden victims but important to find courage to seek help.
