Um Bongo Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 He's hardly taking the ****. stating facts and quite rightly said 'I just wonder what the saints fans are thinking' I'll tell you Jeff, we have no money and our chairman is a ****.
InvictaSaint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I thought he was being quite sympathetic to be honest. His lad often comes to Saints games.
Alright Dave Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Harsh but fair I was just thinking about this myself. Cork, Dyer, Thomson and now Rasiak!!!
saint1977 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Harsh but fair Rasiak was the highest earner so won't moan at the board for that but the others are a bit inexcusable. Fulham are gits as well, just scored at Kettering. Could have done without Blackpool winning in the CCC today - Blackpool haven't got millions - albeit some modest investment from Latvia - their budget is still smaller than ours and they have a 3-sided ground yet they can get wins when they need them. Their players are grown men and have a bit of bottle.
SaintRichmond Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Harsh but fair Yes, very fair ......... What is the wonderful Technical Football REASON from Mr Lowe, as to WHY the very players that could have been scoring for SAINTS, thus increasing the attendances and our League position, are doing it for OUR OPONENTS Another WONDERFUL example of Lowe's Great BUSINESS SENSE. I would venture to suggest that, based on just a 5000 drop in attendances, more money has been LOST through that , than would have been "lost" in paying them to play for US Poortvliet never stood a chance ..... Wotte even less
thefuriousb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I thought the general consensus after his criminal misdemeanour was that Dyer shoud never pull on the shirt again? Cork was also never our player. He is Chelsea's and was merely sent on loan here for a fixed 3 month period. Thomson was apparently a disgrace only a week ago when he was so unfit that the Bournemouth players were all sat on the minibus waiting for him to finish the run. Oh, and Rasiak was a lazy ******. Sometimes I am confused reading this forum

Viking Warrior Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 The dyer gaol really has cheered me up especially if it means the skates are out of the cup
krissyboy31 Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Dyer, Rasiak, cork (sort of) Man has a point Thomson as well!
Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 The dyer gaol really has cheered me up especially if it means the skates are out of the cup And the award for spelling mistake of the year goes too.....
Trader Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 And the award for spelling mistake of the year goes too..... Maybe that's irony. Gaol was where many posters on here thought he ought to go not so long ago!
SaintRobbie Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Harsh but fair He wasnt taking the **** - he was sympathising with Saints fans.

Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Maybe that's irony. Gaol was where many posters on here thought he ought to go not so long ago! Yes, you understood my point. Bravo.
Trader Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Yes, you understood my point. Bravo. Sorry - a little TOO tenuous
sperm_john Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 he has a sort of soft spot for us, we have always had a little bit of attention paid to us by him on there, so i dont mind him having a bit of a dig, its all justified and quite right in my opinion, also draws the attention of the rest of the country to how all our strikers arent at our club, including the late hero of mine, sperm john hehe
Colinjb Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Sorry - a little TOO tenuous What? Gaol is a correct and still valid way of spelling Jail. Give the forum regulars some credit!

Crawley Saint Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 I thought the general consensus after his criminal misdemeanour was that Dyer shoud never pull on the shirt again? What a load of cr@p. Why shouldn't he ever pull on a shirt again, just because he made a mistake when he is young and prob had a few too many bevvies. How many people on here can honestly say they haven't done something juvenile and broken the law when they were young? Also you think the scousers would say the same thing about their god that is Stevie G, if he's found guilty??? Course they wouldn't. I would personally love for Dyer to play for us again esp if he can get the form of early last season back again.
Raven on the wing Posted 24 January, 2009 Posted 24 January, 2009 Quality Saints player who did what he said he hoped to do - score against the skates. Legends have been made of that in the past !
trousers Posted 24 January, 2009 Author Posted 24 January, 2009 He wasnt taking the **** - he was sympathising with Saints fans. Yeah...sorry...rushed post...yep, he was having a dig at the boardroom rather than the fans....
Amesbury Saint Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 I found it all rather depressing - our players and ex players scoring all over the place whilst we had a weekend off.
Viking Warrior Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 Did MLT make any comments re JP during the sky sports programme yesterday? I had to go out. guitar lesson and the darts match. I actually won my league game for a change, lets hope saints fortune changes as well. I pleased for Nathan scoring a goal yesterday maybe he should have been sent to Ill grab (Abu grabe) that Gaol in bagdad. Its irony alright Colin. wrought irony bars at the window of the Gaol
leon86 Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 yeah he also took the mick out of Matt Le Tissier watching the Leicester game yesterday, saying that "he better get used to the standard the way Saints are playing. Not being harsh to the supporter, as I count myself as one of them". It seems that everyone outside the running of the club knows what is wrong and the people who are running have not got a clue. Which is a shame... to say the least.
kenneth_kenobi Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 The OS says we are trying to get a striker - why don't we just recall one of our from loan..........................................
The Godfather Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 The OS says we are trying to get a striker - why don't we just recall one of our from loan.......................................... We probaly can't if the club have paid a loan fee to us.
