davefizzy14 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 (edited) I'm expecting Ralph to make several changes to last Friday nights starting line up. Caballero KWP Stephens Salisu Perraud Redmond JWP Diallo Elyounoussi Adams Adam Armstrong 2-1 to us with Prowsey and Adam Armstrong scoring - COYR Edited 2 March, 2022 by davefizzy14
Baird of the land Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Don’t see any logic in playing caballero. Does forster really need resting to prevent fatigue? 4
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 If he plays anything like the starting eleven when we played Coventry then that will be a huge piss take. No reason to change that line up from Friday. Make the changes in the game if needed 1
Colinjb Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 The competition we should be throwing everything at...... Second string.
trousers Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 (edited) Bloody hell Ralph... What are you playing at?! Edited 2 March, 2022 by trousers 2
Saint Matty 76 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Oh and they're full strength. What a weird way to put a down note on what's been a good year. Hopefully I look stupid in a few hours time and we go through, but this just seems stupid.
northam soul Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Well that is ridiculous Ralph, it’s our only chance of silverware ffs. 1
Jack Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Nooooo what’s he playing at? Absolute car crash. We’ll lose this comfortably
AlexLaw76 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 West ham at full strength Bowen, Zouma, Rice Antonio all starting Oh well
nta786 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Wow Ralph what on earth!!!! It is going to be a very tough pill to swallow if we lose this because I am flabbergasted at that team. I hope he knows what he is doing here because I am worried. I can only hope the element of surprise works in our favour tonight.
coalman Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 (edited) They'll have no answer for shlong. Armstrong will click. Edited 2 March, 2022 by coalman 1
Turkish Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Antonio will absolutely murder Stephens and Valery. That’s a pathetic line up. 3
Ted Bates Statue Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Oh FFS I thought we had got past this sort of nonsense with Pochettino and Koeman. 3
trousers Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Here's hoping I have to apply to join the Saintsweb "glad I was proven wrong" club tonight 4
Baird of the land Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Guess Ralph doesn’t think much of the cup. Wants the extra money for league placing. Shame can’t see us progressing with that lineup. West ham will be licking their lips at the prospect of set pieces.
VectisSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 (edited) Imagine there is complete meltdown on here with that lineup. Think we know what the priorities of the club are now. There is no logical sense in resting Forster for instance. Edited 2 March, 2022 by VectisSaint 1

We have a big squad that he has to try to keep happy and a few players, Stuart Armstrong being one, that has to be managed carefully to keep him fit. Anyone who is suprised when they see the team tomorrow and we have made a few changes shouldn't be suprised and equally it doesnt mean we have no chance of winning. Not suprised, just proves that the cup is always a lower priority for Managers and Clubs than the league. Not saying that is right, but its certainly true.

We will get outmuscled all through the middle and our strikers have what, 4 goals between them. Shit line up.

Saint Matty 76 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 It's taken me this long being disappointed at the team to realise its Yan Valery as a CB in a 4.

CB Fry Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Absolutely fucking insane. If we win, great. But the point is give yourself the best chance. Look like we want to win it. Seriously fucking hell mate. 2

If Jack Stephens and Yan Valery can keep out a big, physical team who score a lot from set pieces, I'll eat my hat (provided it's made of cheese or something). There's literally no headers in that line up. Good luck, chaps. Stranger things have happened, I guess... 1
Edmonton Saint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 It’s weak at centre back, weak in midfield ( sorry Smallbone and Djenepo fans) and weak up front . With a 70 year old goalkeeper for good measure. What a waste of an opportunity 1
nta786 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 At the end of the day if you're fit enough to be sat on the bench, then these players will be going through the usual drills etc etc and warm up, so why the hell has Ralph put out the team he has only he and God knows. A lot of goodwill generated over the last few months could be gone now.

northam soul Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Clubs like us shouldn’t be devaluing the FA cup, West Ham are chasing CL and still go full strength. Really disappointing attitude towards this game as it’s something we should be aiming to do well in. 1
