LGTL Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Never in doubt. Fuck me if I’d have known how bad WH were I’d have asked for the U11’s 1
OttawaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 RH made a huge gamble, but it paid off in spades! 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Who wants to revise their comments before KO then? Got to admit I didn't foresee this performance. Quite exquisite.
Toadhall Saint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Some humble pie to be eaten me included! What a result! 7
Saint_Jonny Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Lol @ me for being so pessimistic before kick off. What the fuck do I know! 2
Chez Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 joyous. Can not wait for the draw. We are going to win this fucking cup this year. 4
FboroSaint21 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Listening from Sweden but yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
OttawaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Yesssss! I hate WHU so much. This is bliss! 1 1
washsaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 LOL - at all the folks saying what a terrible team, etc before a ball was kicked! I would have hoped we would have all learned our lessons by now and that Saints are made of sterner stuff these days! 1
Mikey88 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Fair play Adam Armstrong tonight. Worked his arse off until the end! 10
OttawaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Like the Saints midfield, I think I'll have rice for supper tonight... 1

Secret Site Agent Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Poor, poor, West Ham Ralph has proven once again how much we are full of crap as supporters And we have shut up the commentators. Smileeeee 1
Saints foreva Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Yesss, get in! Fear struck in seeing that lineup but over the moon to be proven wrong there. Players battled well and we've run out with a deserved win there. Now let's go win this fucking Cup.
aintforever Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 I thought we would get stuffed but fair play to Ralph, spectacularly wrong. 1
CanadaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 I think we're all kinda right. We were lucky to survive Ralph's starting lineup without being two or three down, but kicked their arses with something closer to the lineup we wanted. 4
Mystic Force Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 I only had you boys for company on this one today, thanks for taking me through the game. Was not hopeful when I saw that lineup, but you got me through this one, onwards and upwards! 1
StrangelyBrown Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Brilliantly managed game. Some very good performances too. Can't help but feeling that adarma is Shane long mk 2 - pace to burn but not a lot else. Look forward to him proving me wrong though 2 1
Wsaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Quality from Broja, felt a bit sorry for A. Armstrong in that celebration, look on his face you can tell he's desperate to score.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Absolute blinder played by Ralph. Perraud my MOTM, but for goodness sake every player bar Djenepo and Diallo had a brilliant game. 1
Baird of the land Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Very happy with performance of some of the squad players. Smallbone was very good, Valery looks like a cb and a.armstrong was quite lively. Caballero with a nice save at 2-1 after muck up for their goal but still unsure why we played him. 4

Pamplemousse Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Wonderful stuff. Fair play to Ralph, through in the cup and team are fresh to do over Ings on Saturday
Pamplemousse Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Winners of Everton v Boreham Wood at home in the next round please 3

Micky Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Got to hand it to Ralph, not only did he get the starting lineup right, but he also made the right subs at the right time. 2 1
Saint Matty 76 Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Avoid Liverpool, City or Chelsea in the draw and we've got a real good chance at Wembley. Hope two of them come up against each other as well. Be interesting to see if he sticks with "the same players who got us here" in the QF or he brings a few back in. Perraud/Stephens/Valery all brilliant. Not so much on Caballero/Diallo/Djenepo/Long. 1

aintforever Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Had a lot more energy than West Ham, squad looks decent this year.
The Cat Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 That was unreal considering we rested so many players. What a performance. West Ham did nothing after their goal apart from a couple of crosses. Loved watching the mass exodus from the away end when Broja scored.

OttawaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 That's OK RH. I didn't want to be Saints manager anyway...
Behind Enemy Lines Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 A lot of people sleeping on the sofa tonight due to premature bed wetting 😂

HarvSFC Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Great win, onto the quarters we go, I know they're the giant killers, but we'll take Middlesbrough in the next round, or Boreham Wood when they get their expected win tomorrow night, please. I have no concerns when I see Jack Stephens in the team these days. He's grown into a solid CB for this level. However, I never thought I'd see the day where Valery looks competent in a back two against Premier League opposition. I always thought his future would be further up the pitch, but he's proven me wrong. Strange how he can't defend at RB, but can at CB. Perraud's turning into a very good signing. Really putting up a fight to start at left-back in the league. Adam Armstrong, although didn't look like scoring tonight, put in a shift again. He's at least having an effect on matches. If his contract isn't extended, I would like that to be Caballero's last match for us. End on a high, a win and a good save. But, he was at fault for the goal and the good save came from another of his errors. Too risky playing him in the latter stages of the cup when Forster's in the form he is. I guess, Djenepo and Diallo from the squad players failed to impress tonight too. I always want Djenepo to come good after his start to his Saints career, but he's just not at this level, he doesn't know what he's doing himself. While, Diallo surprised me. He's looked capable previously, hopefully a one off, but he really showed the importance of having Romeu. Great times to be a Saints fan though, now we go onto Villa at the weekend with what should be a pretty fresh squad. 2
redkeith Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 Ralph 3 keyboard warriors 1. Great performance, especially perraud and valley. Vive la France 1

CanadaSaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 In Ralph's defence - and to totally argue against my own pre-match criticism - we have some players with significant potential that will only be realized if they play more. Valery and Smallbone are great examples. Both of them lack the self-confidence that can really only come with game time, and A. Armstrong is on the same list. I just wasn't ready to see them get the chance in a last-16 FA Cup tie. 8
Warriorsaint Posted 2 March, 2022 Posted 2 March, 2022 We are never keeping Broja, Christ I wish wed got him in January. At this rate only Newcastle can afford him. 2
