Paulwantsapint81 Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Can’t find it elsewhere When is draw? Who do we want? Personally want easiest draw possible (Peterborough unless Boreham Wood win) With as many big teams drawing each other 1
CB Fry Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 (edited) The tradition of draws being a stupid times continues. At least this time is actually on a mainstream TV channel. ITV at about twenty to twelve before the Liverpool match (and before the other Sundays matches) We are ball 6. My inside source says we will definitely be away to Stoke City. JRM Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 I would normally want a decent away draw, but midweek start of March (between Norwich home and Villa away) makes an away day an effort with trains / time off work. Peterborough or Luton at home hopefully

CB Fry Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 (edited) I see it's one of those midweek rounds - Tues/Wed/Thurs 1/2/3 March. Edited 6 February, 2022 by CB Fry

whelk Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 (edited) On positive note we have never had a bad draw when ball number 6 when draw takes place on Sunday morning Edited 6 February, 2022 by whelk

Coins flying between fans. Shithouse of a ground, area and team. Remember losing 2-1 in the league cup quarter final after extra time at Dell in the late 80s/early 90s after we’d drawn up there. Danny or Rod Wallace had a goal disallowed in normal time for a ridiculous non foul, game finished 0-0 in normal time then they did us in extra time. Gutted.
Badger Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Think the FA Cup tie I’m referring to was late 1980’s, 88 at a guess. From recollection they still had a ban on away fans in the league but had to lift it for the cup. The ground really was in backstreet Shitsville.
Lighthouse Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Big teams all avoiding each other again. Home to West Ham…. Meh. 1
64saint Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 (edited) West Ham then home. That's winnable as long as Ralph puts out a strong team. Edited 6 February, 2022 by 64saint 1
Turkish Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 tough draw, have we ever had 5,000 people all related to the Krays at St Marys before? 6
LGTL Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Liverpool City and Chelsea will all go through comfortably which is annoying. West Ham at home. Meh.
AlexLaw76 Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 It is amazing the draws always favour Man City
trousers Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Happy with that. Ralph will be less inclined to tinker with the line up Vs a PL team 1

Toussaint Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Hope we don’t give West Ham the same allocation as we Did Coventry, that would take some policing!

FA Cup was indeed 1988 https://www.11v11.com/matches/luton-town-v-southampton-30-january-1988-215914/ League Cup Q Final replay was 1989 as Turkish mentions. Guys stood on the Milton were throwing pound coins and 50ps at Steve Foster at every set piece. A couple bounced off him and quite a few hit the bar. Was thinking as a kid what I could have bought with those. Game ended up 2-1 to them after extra time. Chelsea going there instead, that might be a busy night for Bedfordshire’s finest. Chelsea fans under 40 are in for a shock at Kenilworth Rd, Dell was luxurious compared to that. You used to literally walk through back gardens to get in the away end. Luton fans caused trouble at SMS in the Cup when they were non league 10 years or so ago. West Ham home - bit boring but it’s a home tie at least.

Tamesaint Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Could have been better. Could have been worse. See the hot balls trick has worked so that City , Chelsea , Liverpool avoid each other. 1
sadoldgit Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Home tie, tick. Avoided a potential banana skin, tick. Not unhappy with this draw and will be delighted if we can knock WH out of the cup.
bpsaint Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Pretty shit draw all round. Please saints don’t give them the whole of the Northam for f**k sake.

Suspect the rozzers are already calculating their overtime payments for this one. 5,000 West Ham fans in town. And don’t forget the 10-15,000 skates fans who’ll just turn up for a punch up
Richie B Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 West Ham have a tough run of fixtures around the FA Cup tie, with the Europa League thrown in the mix… 27th Feb Wolves A *2nd March Saints A* 5th March Liverpool A 10th March Europa League 1st Leg 13th March Aston Villa H 17th March Europa League 2nd Leg 20th March Tottenham A Hopefully will mean that they need to rest players. They are also only a dodgy Antonio hamstring away from having no striker… 1
LaptopSaint Posted 6 February, 2022 Posted 6 February, 2022 Damn…another thirty seconds or so and it would have been Kidderminster! 3
