Only two aspects of sustainability matter to our football club, financial sustainability and its survival in the PL. Greenwashing may make a few people feel all warm and cuddly but at best it is a misguided attempt to amplify the credentials of the incumbent management. No doubt we will be planting a few trees around the touchline at St Mary's soon?

Hah! I saw that Charlie Wayman had commented and managed to successfully predict the content of his post before reading it. 🙂

It's primarily because we use less paper for player contracts than other clubs.

After winning this award I hope that the club look to greenwash the Fanzone area at the side of the stadium. Superficial landscaping, but it currently looks like a post leak visitor centre at Chernobyl.  ALDI currently have some big pot plants and bark chippings on offer.

Come on you red and green machine...

I would thoroughly enjoy this ringing out around SMS 😅

Got to question the methodology when Spurs can demolish a stadium and build an unnecessary (from an environmental perspective) replacement and still come out top! Though I do think Levy would make the team walk to away games to save a few pennies

I mean all jokes aside it is actually a hugely important corporate governance topic at the moment so fair play for us being ahead of the game.

Shame there isn't a yawning emoji ;)

These all seem like good things, but it's nothing to do with "sustainability". Being a home for bats is nice. But not being a home for bats is just as sustainable!
