A cheap option as a backup, out on loan (presumably with a recall option) and potential sale fee down the line. Seems sensible.

suewhistle Posted 2 June, 2022 Share Posted 2 June, 2022 Le Havre is also handy for keeping an eye on him, although not quite as handy as when the Portsmouth ferry went there. If this were to go ahead presumably with recall option but then how many games would he play? It's all a bit subjunctive..

Saint Matty 76 Posted 2 June, 2022 Share Posted 2 June, 2022 Don’t rate Bednarek whatsoever. Can do certain things reasonably well but gets exposed pretty easily. Anywhere between £10-£20m and I’d like to think we could upgrade pretty easily.

Player recruitment and trading there has been exceptional - The multi-club vision. We don't seem to be in the hands of a 'Burnley style, debt-based no apparent plan or reason' owner. Of course, they have to deliver, and this window is their first chance to show us their mettle. I'm also impatient and want to see some progress. NOW!
