Whatever happens now this is going to be #SaintsFc best window since 2014 when they signed Tadic, Mané, Forster, Pelle, Long, Cedric, & Bertrand … and arguably it’s better because they haven’t had to sell key (& popular) players like Lambert, Lallana & Shaw to make it happen

You just wonder how things work behind the scenes. Given the links to Caleta-Car over the last few windows you could assume he was our preferred choice at CB. Perhaps the interest in Bade and Lacroix was our fallback options but we got our man, and at a bargain price

Doesn't that mean he feels that even if we sign nobody else this is the best window since 2014? He's not actually said we'll not be making any further signings. That's how I read it anyway.

Haven't we brought in Mara, Aribo and Endozie? That's 3 forward players. Unless you're talking about an out and out striker but even Gakpo isn't one of them. Would be nice to see a proper striker come in.
