Let's see what happens!

My betting is that both Theo and Redmond will still be here tomorrow and that will be that. I don't think financially either will work for Bournemouth or WBA, they're simply paid too much.

I know some people don’t rate him but I wouldn’t be averse to Redmond staying as back up. However he’s been completely overlooked this season so it looks as if his days are numbered anyway.

Good news if Dibling is back. Maybe he saw the pathway to our attacking areas are better than theirs, which is something most of us could have told him in the first place.

Starting to get antsy for an announcement of our signings now. AMN particularly is important that it goes through due to versatility as well as C-C otherwise we’ll have 3 CBS.

As positive as that is, he's been getting on the bench recently. If redmond goes too then we are losing some attacking options.

The renewal in this window meant it was time to move some on and make space for younger ones. I am pleased Djeneppo has survived the cull. He's light weight and injury prone and was rubbished a year ago but he's got a great attitude, It's taken a while to come good but he's achieved a lot in different roles.

Yes but we need more.

Adams, AA, Stu, Mara, JWP, Aribo, Moi, Djenepo and Edozie would all be fighting over four places. Seems reasonably well stocked to me, we were over staffed with forwards last year they were just mostly crap.

Not really. Aribo A Armstrong,  Mara and the new lad from city play where redmond can and Theo barely featured second half of last season

What he said ^^^

Theo was injured for ages, and Redmond is off the scene.

Neither made the 20 for Leeds or Man United - both out and one is fine with me.

In my opinion we need a quality attacking signing. It's not just about numbers.

Redmond staying is such a step backwards.

If we lose Redmond and Walcott, you'd expect we definitely have an attacker coming in. Squad is in risk of being incredibly thin!

I agree. I think you would have heard something more definitive if we weren't trying to bring in an attacker.

JwP is a CM, Mo is shite, Mara is a kid, Djenepo has been playing (well) at LB, but has been pretty poor further up.  There is a reason why are so bad up top and the club have been very active (and open) about getting in more quality.

So many rumours today, but the club have so far only announced OUTS and have yet to announce an IN, I think they troll fans on purpose so they can sit there pressing F5 on Spazweb all day and pissing themselves at some of that absolute balloon headed fucking wet wipes on here…….comedy gold!!

Anyway, this is my last post of the day so what will be will be. If nobody else comes in, it’s been a bloody good window!

See you tomorrow for the Cody Gakpo wankfest maybe!

Sunderland fans literally dubbed Vokins their worst ever LB when he was there in League One.

I'd like to see evidence for that. The Mackem supporters I know rated him until his heart problems.

We defo need another attacker. We're a Che injury away from having precisely no goal threat at all.

I’m not sure how you’ve arrived at that conclusion regarding Mara, Aribo and Edozie based on what we’ve seen so far.

And the point is it doesn't matter what apologists on mongweb think. The club themselves have been very vocal about needing to strengthen in attack. The club agrees with me.

Yes, but your initial point was that of Redmond and Theo (wide players) leave we need to replace them. That's a different point to needing an alternative CF.

Pour Caleta-Car, transfert à Southampton compris entre 5 et 6M€, a voir qui prendra en charge les ultimes commissions. #OM économise un gros salaire. Prix du marché.

That is a bargain.

He also did OK in SPL for Ross, you'd think L1 or L2 would have been his level..Woking aren't even a top NL team, must be some tie up on a personal level.

Now Tyler Dibling has come home, do we even need to sign anyone?

We will be signing the city youngsters and at least 1 first team signing. Possibly 2, 3 is unlikely.

Might not even be official announcements until mid-night.

No I think they changed it a few years ago.

He played 4 games. He was man of the match twice and had two assists. He was dog s**t in the fourth game and complained of feeling out of breath b4 he was subbed.

That doesn't sound like he was shite to me, but I'm not a Sunderland follower

Fair enough. I didn't know any of that. Happy to be proven wrong.

Blackmore’s tweet seems to indicate we’re done with just the four incomings.

A lot of pressure on Edozie to be ready immediately for me.

Assuming we stick to the 4231 we’ve been playing, you have…

LW: A. Armstrong, Edozie, Djenepo

CAM: Aribo, S. Armstrong

RW: Elyounoussi, Redmond, Walcott

Lots of players there, just not a load of quality.

Whatever happens now this is going to be #SaintsFc best window since 2014 when they signed Tadic, Mané, Forster, Pelle, Long, Cedric, & Bertrand …

and arguably it’s better because they haven’t had to sell key (& popular) players like Lambert, Lallana & Shaw to make it happen

As well as this summer has been, if we don't sign at least 1 striker or quality AM, I think it's a real big missed opportunity. But, there is only 13 games until Jan window...

I was expecting at least 1 forward player, possibly 2.
