Trying to figure out how to pronounce his name

Think it's something like Doo-yeah Chal-eta-Tsar

There's a video clip of SSN above where his name is pronounced. It reminded me of someone attempting to say Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

I only just saw the Edozie vid. He looks an exciting player. Well brought up at City. Left footed attacking winger. Like Cody but even younger, and notably way cheaper. We might just have got ourselves another special one at a fraction of the cost and wages.

Surely we won’t go into the season with a lighter attack than last? We were shite up top last season too

Yep get used to it or start a thread where you can vent your spleen.

Could you do me a favour today old bean and post every 5 minutes how disappointed you are? I just don't think posting it once or twice will quite ram home just how disappointed you are. That would be much appreciated. Thanks.

He is still lamenting the loss of Long.

Found myself scrolling through twitter for far too long yesterday. It's a funny old place. There's this weird kid called Saint Rob who seems to be held up as some sort of ITK Messiah by the gullible morons, with the only evidence of this being his use of classic look at me lines such as "it's my understanding" and "I'm told". Very strange behaviour.

Decided to leave them to it and just turned on notifications for SaintsExtra. Not sure if it's run by an lonely obsessive or a particularly ingenious bot, but they always tweet every mention of Saints almost immediately whilst crucially citing the source. It's very helpful.

Another beardy tattooed centre back in the squad. Give Lyanco some company in the 'cool' stakes.

Plays in a flat white back four

Do wonder if we are cutting our losses on Small in that case? If this other lad is a left back

Small is what, 18 years old? A little too early to be writing him off methinks.

Will Manchester City buy back a half of our team a few years later?

They will need about £160-200 million to buy them all back, I think the buy back clauses are north of £40 million, if not £50 million in the case of Lavia and Bazunu.

Not sure, I thought I read between the lines on something that the club weren't too happy with his progress. Might have got that wrong though.

If they do its a good sign for us.

Yep... it's a "win win" strategy isn't (yet another cliché to add to your collection @hypochondriac! ;) ).... if they turn out to be brilliant... both clubs benefit.... and when Man City buy them back, we simply go back for more of the same.... and if they turn out to be shite then it hasn't cost us much in the general scheme of things

We're in for a roller coaster few hours having already done some brilliant business this window.  Most of us agree that a good striker is still needed and we know there is a pot of money to spend. I'm hoping something will come out of left field and catch us all by surprise but appreciate the club needs to do due diligence on any major signing. Maybe there is plenty still going on in the background and the owners have one more surprise up their sleeve. Keeps us all interested and on our toes and more exciting than some of our recent windows.

His deficiency defensively (from limited games so far) definitely seems a large concern.

Time's on his side as you say but hardly one to be banking on either.

Reading Caleta-Car is dependent on Bednarek leaving but doubt this given funds now available - perhaps just a message to other clubs about our spending ability. Hope he signs

You've miss understood that one. It's nothing about funds.

We won't need another CB if Bednarek stays. If Bednarek goes, we need a new CB hence this guy.

Double CC is red and white, red and white, red and white,

Double CC is red and white

He hates Pompey...

OR

Semmens went to Europe, to buy a lamborghini,

Instead he bought a defender, his name was double CC

He blocks em with his left foot, he tackles with his right,

and when he stops them from scoring

we'll sing this song all night...

Dawson wants to go back north apparently as he's doing monster commute to training. So hope he goes, then Bednarek replaces, then Caleta Car signs. Lots in this though - like buying a house in a complex chain

Villa in the mix as well for both Dawson and Bednarek (apparently). But I fully expect it to pan out with Bednarek at WHU, Dawson at Wolves and Caleta-Car to us.

Certainly a potential shake-up in West Ham’s defence :)

My Wesst Ham mate thinks he'll go there as 5th choice which seems a bit strange to be honest. Possibly they're wanting to play 3 at the back.  But they have Kehrer, Zouma, Aguerd, Ogbonna.  Cresswell also plays LCB. Will be interesting to see how often he actually plays.

It would be nice to see him feature when we play them, for old times sake.

Possible ins today:
- Sam Edozie
- Juan Larios
- Ainsley Maitland-Niles
- Duje Caleta-Car

And Saints still pursuing other attacking options.

This window is already 9/10.

Anyone still sulking over PSV refusing to let Gakpo go, get over it ffs. He wasn’t even linked to us 48 hours ago. 🙄🤣

Seems a lot for a guy in his last year of the contract.

Ings was £30m, Vestegaard was £15m-£18m..., PEH was £15m? Hazard was £100m+?

About the going rate I think.

With him and Bella Kotchap in and Bednarek and Stephens out that a huge upgrade at the back

Yeah absolutely, we've done really well in CB.

Equally in midfield with Lavia and AMN added to the group. Just a little bit worried about the attack.
