Russia saying the bridge MUST be fixed by July 2023.

I thought it was already reopened.

They are deliberately overplaying this token attack so they can nuke Norwich

Seems the man of our age has thrown a tantrum, now saying that the US must pay for Starlink in Ukraine :

And this twat's about to buy Twitter apparently ($44B).

So now Putin is saying he is ready to talk and happy to pull his troops out of Kherson... like he's not about to lose it in the next week anyway

Is it a gesture of goodwill, a movement to better positions or because somebody might smoke near something they shouldn't?

The Russian Air Force began the war in Ukraine with a formidable inventory of combat aircraft (fixed wing and helicopters)
supported by an array of stand-off munitions and EWAR capabilities. In the opening hours, it seemed that those capabilities
may be paying off, with paratroopers inserting at Hostomel without interception by Ukraine's integrated air defence system
(IADS). At the same time, Russian columns were (seemingly incomprehensibly) being picked apart by slow moving TB-2 Drones.
But things changed quickly, and since the stabilisation of the situation, the airspace over Ukraine has been contested. Aircraft
fly low to avoid interception, while new threats periodically emerge to challenge the equilibrium. Recently, those include HARM
missiles, Iranian and Russian loitering munitions, and cruise missile attacks on civilian infrastructure. In this video I look at the
impact of air-defence systems on the Ukraine war, and what lessons observers may be taking based on the available data.

Not sure what to make of this Belarusian build up of troops. The quoted number of 9,000, no doubt ill equipped and low in morale, is not going to trouble the defences around Kyiv.

Supposedly they sent their almost advanced tanks to Russia and are receiving outdated models in return.

Its either a ploy to have Kiev commit resources or a suicide feint by ill equipped conscripts for the same reason.

They are going to do the entertainment for all the troops.

The Ukrainian Territorial Defence Force have been dug in on the Belarus border since the Russians withdrew from Kyiv. They have mined all the border roads and blown up bridges just in case.

Pathetic to be leaving hanging on not having an idea about what is going on but saying enough to cause questions

https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-war-mysterious-ben-wallace-trip-to-washington-amid-fears-of-russian-escalation-12723942

The quote from Mr Heappey was...

"My boss, Ben Wallace, is in Washington this morning having the sort of conversations that… beyond belief really the fact we are a time when these sort of conversations are necessary."

At a point of such tension the article goes onto say

"NATO allies are this week conducing an annual exercise to test their ability to launch nuclear strikes."

and

"Russia is also set to carry out annual nuclear drills. The US has said the Russians have not informed them of their nuclear drills, information they would normally expect to receive."

What could possibly go wrong there?

seems like Kherson about to transfer back into Ukrainian hands. Here's hoping the Russians withdraw otherwise will be lots of lives lost on each side fighting for it.

I think the Ukrainians will cut Kherson off and isolate it whilst trying to avoid urban fighting. Under those circumstances, I don't thin any remaining Russians would wait long before capitulation.

From Ukrainian Pravda;

Ukrainian journalists have recognised their car and equipment among the loot that Russian propagandists tried to take out of occupied Kherson.

"Well, for the sake of news, hidden GPS trackers were installed on the company's moving property (equipment, vehicles). The strike [launched by Ukrainian forces against a convoy of Russian occupiers at a pontoon crossing under the Antonivka Bridge - ed.] was highly accurate."

Hopefully war and civil insurrection is covered by the guarantee

A brand new Russian fighter may have been missing a few bits.

Supposedly the pilots suffocated before the crash. Someone with more experience in aviation can tell me how that is possible.

I haven’t seen any report on this, but one guess could be a loss in translation. It may have meant loss of consciousness perhaps?

You can Google g-loc.

Some Russian reports saying his oxygen tank might have been filled with nitrogen.

Everything in Russia looks really shit. Even when displaying opulence it all looks dark.

It's basically the Trafford Centre with WW2 munitions.
