East Kent Saint Posted 17 January, 2022 Author Posted 17 January, 2022 Oh it’s come back and clearing cookies/history doesn’t work any more …..
The Cat Posted 17 January, 2022 Posted 17 January, 2022 Can you use Brave browser on an ipad? It can block all ads and pop ups.
East Kent Saint Posted 17 January, 2022 Author Posted 17 January, 2022 It does a self clear out every so often so I'll see if that does it , it is just an irritation and the thought that I don't have control over my own device !
East Kent Saint Posted 17 January, 2022 Author Posted 17 January, 2022 Well I can't log on from ipad now , error code 2S119/1 , is that a Saintsweb error code ? OK on laptop .
johnnyboy Posted 17 January, 2022 Posted 17 January, 2022 Yes back for me too although I can log in , have you done the latest iOS update that has just been released ? Could it be related to that ?

Laptop I think okay though, although I don't use the forum much on there. Odd.

East Kent Saint Posted 17 January, 2022 Author Posted 17 January, 2022 Well : did os update , opened saintsweb via google all ok , from google opened in safari =HUEl back again ! Back to google and no Huel ? Tried blocking cookies but couldn’t log on so perhaps they can bypass the ad blocker . Have to wait for next update …
johnnyboy Posted 17 January, 2022 Posted 17 January, 2022 I’ve put my Surfshark vpn and that works ! Not ideal but it’ll do !
CanadaSaint Posted 17 January, 2022 Posted 17 January, 2022 So what’s the back story on this? I’m now getting the annoying banner on my iPad and Macbook Pro. Is it a revenue generative initiative of Saintsweb, even for subscribed users?
East Kent Saint Posted 18 January, 2022 Author Posted 18 January, 2022 On another football website (proboards ) had a pop up saying turn off your ad blocker as it reduces their revenue , you just close it for each session but ....
East Kent Saint Posted 18 January, 2022 Author Posted 18 January, 2022 VPN stopped it popping up , I’ll use that for now.
positivepete Posted 18 January, 2022 Posted 18 January, 2022 Getting very frustrating now! @stevegrant any more ideas other than clearing the cache every five minutes? cheers pete

CeeBee Posted 19 January, 2022 Posted 19 January, 2022 Still on my IPad. Tried everything but no joy at getting rid of it.
East Kent Saint Posted 19 January, 2022 Author Posted 19 January, 2022 (edited) Did you try deleting all history on Safari ? On the latest os version there is a clear all history and website data button in settings under the safari button. Edited 19 January, 2022 by East Kent Saint
