How did Bednarek even manage to fuck that up? He had it - just had to poke the ball out of play - but somehow failed to do so.

So much for VAR being used for 'clear and obvious' errors. It took them an eternity to make the decision and it was subjective at best. We may as well be playing rugby if this is how they're going to officiate games.

Commentators saying it basically HAD to be a penalty, but it's just so unclear whether or not her got a touch of the ball I have no idea how they come to that conclusion.
