Mystic Force Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 So when we are leading at the end we collapse to an opposition onslaught. In the opposite situation we concede and kill off our hope.
DT Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 At least it shows we need to make the priority some better defenders and keeper as well as Broja. Time to actually spend. 1

OttawaSaint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Another save. Tale of 2 keepers today. Swap them and we win 4-1.
Saint_clark Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Why the hell did Salisu show him towards the goal there for fuck sake??? 1
Toadhall Saint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Knew it wasn't going to be our day when the Salisu chance/header didn't go in and they get a dodgy penalty.
Sheaf Saint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 That would have been easily defended if Lyanco wasn't injured.
obelisk Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Wolves looking to buy fouls and Saints defenders happy to sell them. 1
DT Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Has Redmond been this bad all game? Reverting to type. 1
SonicBoom Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Worth watching just for JWP's goal. Unbelievable

Either stay back or really go for it, but his brain is just not up to it. Wolves are generally faster to every ball…it’s what they do well. We’ll lose this obviously. 31 minutes ago, zurichboy said: And that's why Forster is a fcking useless keeper. Guys, you can’t say that on here. He’s actually just ‘out of form’ 1

DT Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 There really are some shockingly bad officials in the Premier League. Really awful. 1

BotleySaint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Undeniable Wolves have been directed to dive at every opportunity today and the ref has fallen for it every time. 2
davefizzy14 Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 (edited) Joke, we've been cheated out of that today. Inept refereeing once again. Edited 15 January, 2022 by davefizzy14 1
trousers Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 (edited) File under "one of those days". We weren't great, but we weren't poor either. Wolves the same (although they were head and shoulders above us in the play-acting stakes). If Perraud's header goes in and the game ends 2-2, then no-one would see that as an unfair result. Hey ho. Onto the next one. Edited 15 January, 2022 by trousers 3
SaintTex Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 14 goals for in 19 matches for Wolves. 3 goals against 1 match with Saints. 1
Saint_clark Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Only seen the last 15 minutes or so but Salisu has been really poor, giving the ball away time after time. 1
Chez Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Just now, Suhari said: Enjoyed his performance today though. one day one of his crosses will go near a Saints player. Ignore me. Annoyed at that defeat. He worked hard and got forward well.
doc oli Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 I’m just pleased we don’t have to play those fucking play acting fannies again this season. Bunch of utter cunts. 5 1
Nolan Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Wolves scoring higher for dives than Tom Daley. Doing well on takeoff and flight. Extra points for the rolls on landing. 1
OttawaSaint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Well JWPs goal was absolutely exquisite and for all the times we've pissed away wins just fucking typical that we hit post and they go up the other end and finish us off. What a incredibly frustrating game. 1
davefizzy14 Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 (edited) We deserved something from that today. If Perrauds header had gone in we get a draw at the very least, so unlucky. Prowsey sensational free kick The inept refereeing has cost us today! Edited 15 January, 2022 by davefizzy14 1
DT Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 What’s that? 9 games without a clean sheet? Maybe more? Really need to prioritise defence and firm up that Henderson bid. 1
Chez Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 I want to see the second goal again. Why is Kilman getting a free header? Defending of set pieces is woeful. Almost everyone from deep is a near thing.
obelisk Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 If that had ended 2-2 I reckon everyone would be happy. As it is Wolves had the more incisive attack and Saints were powder puff so 3-1 it is. 1

cloggy saint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Didn't expect anything from this game so can't be too disappointed even if on another day we could have got at least a point. It would be nice to bounce back next time out but unfortunately that's very unlikely.
AlexLaw76 Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Unlucky. Away to a good team, 3rd game in a week.
jemanson Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Wolves players falling over from the first minute to the last. The swan dive from Podence at the end deserves some kind of award.

NewYorkSaint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 I'm frustrated but not unhappy. We battled superbly. Lost on the finest of margins. If you replayed that game 10 times, we'd win 4 and draw 2. Wolves a great side. And we're equally great.

tajjuk Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 I think Wolves are having one of those Pardew Newcastle seasons, bang average but getting lucky, it's a false position and they'll drop down to like 14th next year IMO, you can't score that few goals, rely on dodgy pens, mistakes and scoring with your only shots. To be honest bit like Newcastle were last year and under Rafa as well. No way they deserved to win that or the home game against us, but they have, just the way football is sometimes. 1 1
Saints foreva Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Poor second half I think. Formation change made us worse, disappointing really. Defensively awful as per normal, we really need to be signing a CB and a GK who are going to be mainstays in the starting lineup in the summer.
Warriorsaint Posted 15 January, 2022 Posted 15 January, 2022 Two mid table teams. Not a lot between them. Id rather have our team than theirs 1
