Hi There, lurker not a poster but could we have named a poorer side, why can't Hassenhutl just say we're going to gamble and pick a poor side as we need to stay in the Premier League and the FA Cup means little to us, that is modern football, and its getting further away from something that I loved.

Currently they have better players than ours on the pitch. Meanwhile, all our talent sits on the bench and watches as we make Coventry look like Man City on steroids. Come on Ralph, we've all seen enough.

Will be fuming at Ralph if we lose this. Absolutely no excuse for the line up.

Well, there is an excuse for it - the fact that we have two tough away games in the next 7 days and need to kep players fresh.

But he has under-estimated Coventry and made too many changes.

Salisu for Valery and KWP for Small at half time please. Fix the back line and then let the other have 15 minutes before Broja & S. Armstrong.

So you want to take off Valery and replace him with Salisu and KWP?

I think the ref might notice if we start the second half with 12 men on the pitch! 😉

This game is more important than the PL but unfortunately the club would happily finish 17th every f**king year and call staying in the league a success.

2 questions ;

who are the home team ?

Who are the Premier League team ?

This isn’t a premier league line up today. Too weak of a line up and that’s obviously down to the manager.

Shockingly complacent team selection. Stupid from Ralph. If you pick a front 3 of Walcott, Long and Armstrong you are virtually guaranteeing a load of dross.

Armstrong, Perraud, Adams and Salisu on for Walcott, Long, Stephens and Small.

If Walcott comes out second half then Ralph out!

They are contracted first team squad members of a Premier League team. Even if they are only good enough to be 'bit part' players at that level, they should still be better than a mid table Championship side, especially at home.

Saints struggling to break down a well organised and hard working Coventry side. They are playing nicely on the counter and No. 17 has held the ball up very well. Obviously a bit of a re-think required at HT because this isn't working.

Yep, the selection was a mistake.  We have the subs to use.  Get them on and get at them second half.

Tactically brilliant from Ralph, an excellent first half with a bang on team selection and clever switch of tactic after Lyanco injury. Only half time guys remember our superior XG will shine through in the end

The minute we switched formation we nullified their attack. Redmond immediately improves attack. Walcott off for a good creative and one of strikers switched for che or broja (latter preferably)

Which would then leave us with no further substitutions, ( unless it goes to E.T. ).
