Pretty slow in getting the ball into wide positions IMO. Allows them to shift the extra defender across in good time

Apart from Stuarts goal we haven't really worried their keeper in the second half.  Need more creativity to give the front players a chance.

I only got back to see from 50 mins on. Not lots of momentum, in either exploiting Coventry when they tried to counter, nor in working their defence when they sat back. Redmond coming on was an improvement. But it took a super Armstrong strike to get Saints back into this. I'm not sure they would have been able to without it.

Just slow play in general. When we briefly stopped playing at walking pace we looked almost like a football team.

Must be soul destroying make overlapping runs as a full back.

Romeu has improved us. Still lack that creativity. That's where we need to invest in the summer beyond filling the gaps left by keepers and Long departing.

Not really anything to suggest Saints are going to finish this off. They need to step it up to avoid pens. Coventry have had some moments, that didn;t come to anything, but were more likely to than anything we were doing.

Yep. Djenepo-Eli-Walcott signings (and a lack of funds to being in better) have not helped. As much as Redmond is hated, he is the best of that group.

This post could've been made any time in the last four years.

We're a counter attacking side. We don't know what to do when the opposition lets us have the ball and asks to be broken down. Nothing new here.
