Lighthouse Posted 8 January, 2022 Author Posted 8 January, 2022 Aaaaarrrggghhhhh…. Should have played that earlier, two inside there. 1
Jimmy_D Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 What a run! Shame we couldn't finish it off there. 1
Turkish Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 long breaking up play and turning defence into attack in an instant. What a performance 1
CanadaSaint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 There you go. fit wasn't for Gabby we'd be heading to Huddersfield next week.

I'd take money for Moi and Djenepo if offered, but nobody is taking Long and Walcott off our hands, and Forster is going in the summer. 1
beatlesaint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Long has shown Armstrong up here, big time 2
SonicBoom Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Only Shane would be unselfish enough to be clean through on goal but decide to try and chip it to someone else. 1

Chez Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Swansea really are a terrible side. 1 minute ago, Turkish said: Long is out of contact as well isn’t he? yes

Uncle Albert Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 These commentators are fucking annoying. 1

obelisk Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Quite a good result given the circumstances. Bring on Kidderminster. 2
Jimmy_D Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 We've done well to dig that one out! Imagine looking back on escaping this one if we go on to lift the cup... 2
Kingsland Codger Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 A heroic performance from our boys. Brilliant. Well done.
OttawaSaint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Great character shown. Could really have just given up after going behind.

hasper57saint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 I honestly thought we were going out at full time. But, we did it. Well done Mr. Nuisance Long. My MOTM. 2
St Chalet Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Decent win in the end, good to see a bit spirit. To all the Shane Long haters, he did a great job. 6
Viking Saint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 37% possession. We don't half like making life hard for ourselves. Onwards
TWar Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 (edited) Tough game. Valery owes JWP a pint. Longy earned his wages for atleast a few weeks with that. Broja and Arma anonymous. Diallo quality, all in all good work from the lads, showed cracking spirit. Edited 8 January, 2022 by TWar 1
Cascadia Saint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 To quote the mighty Idles: Always poor, never bored… Good result though! 1
DT Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Hope Valery is buying the pies and pints for everybody at the services on the way home
Micky Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Given the circumstances, very good result. Not the greatest performance, but we dug in and ground out a win. Should've been comfortable before the ending off, but job done so well done all.
jimmysaint7 Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Don't get the hate for Armstrong, done what Job he was given to do.put on the wing in front of jwp and gave him the protection he needed, was obvious he wasn't going to get many chances, except when long should of gave him a tap in 5

Chez Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 I am worried about Stuart Armstrong. I know he has bee injured, but unless he is at full tilt he's a nothing player. Need him back to his best. Whats gone on there? 1
CylonKing Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Seriously thought that was it when Swansea took the lead, credit to the team though, great come back and good to progress. As a team, think we're showing some damn good spirit in the last few matches. 6

StrangelyBrown Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 All round a bit embarrassing... Embarrassing commentary/pundits Embarrassing dive from obefami Embarrassing play from Valery to allow obefemi to dive Embarrassing misses from tells and Stephens Embarrassing defending from perraud Embarrassing parrying from Forster And yet we again showed character and won despite most things going against us. 2 3

davefizzy14 Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 Brilliant effort from everyone and determination when we went down to ten men. Our superior fitness levels shone through. Into the hat for the next round 5
ButtikonSaint Posted 8 January, 2022 Posted 8 January, 2022 (edited) It's a win and deserved I think... Swansea fought hard and should be praised but they didn't really have the legs or the level. Pretty much in control even with 10 men...not too sure about the second yellow for Valery but he needs to learn from his mistakes as he's not a youngster anymore. I think the team did ok, nice for Longy and Redmond to get a goal each...Stu Moj & Diallo got some good mins ... Adam A. is having a bit of a nightmare but I have a feeling he'll bang a few in the next games. Let's hope for a nice home draw ... COYR Edited 8 January, 2022 by ButtikonSaint 1

But he's obviously lacking in match fitness and then had to drop deep when JWP went to RB which constrained him as an attacking threat.
