In almost every "man short" situation I can remember, including both 9-0's, Ralph has left two striker-type players out there. I've always struggled to figure out why he would opt to do that, and dismantle the heart of our midfield.

We have one sub left? Hoping Fraser doesn't get injured/sent off, I'd be bringing on Lyanco for Perraud. Go 3 at the back. They'll be the dominant attacking force in extra time.

I feel sorry for the bench youngsters. Had we cruised this without the sending off, Olaigbe or Chauke could have come on.

My God this is a championship team we have out there now.

Our left back is utterly crap, who scouted him….

And I'm sure the commentator said "he's an excellent left back..". I nearly choked on my beer

Well it hasn't been great o watch but I'm not going to engage in the wrist-slitting that others are.

We're missing a few key players and we've played the majority of the game a man down thanks to Valery's stupidity.  It's obvious they will then have more possession and overloads, and the goal they scored only came about because of a fluky deflection off Stephens.

Could have done without having to play ET with a game on Tuesday, but we haven't played for two weeks so it shouldn't be too much of an issue for some of these players to play again in midweek.

Valery totally ruined this game for us. He must have known that Oba is no finisher. Should have just let Forster deal with it

Yes I agree but most games somebody does something stupid last game it was Salisu against Brighton it was JWP

Coupled with the fact our stikers are shocking with so many misses it is hardly surprising our results are pretty poor

Need to cut out these yellow cards as soon as possible

strange isn't it. It's like we still want to press. Why bother pressing when a man short. Just wasted energy.

Why hasn’t Ralph brought on Lyanco and moved Stephens to RB, obvious at half time JWP is the difference in quality in the middle of the park!
Anyone else thought that S. Armstrong is waaay off the pace? And AlienLucy is Sunday league again…

Bringing Elyounoussi (and Long) on is like running up a white flag of surrender

Or maybe not.

Exactly. I like Ralph but I find his "my way" obstinacy infuriating at times.

Bednarek must be getting towards double figures for own goals now. Absolute donkey.

Elyounoussi makes it 2-2. Extra time is already more interesting than the entire game has been thus far.

It's a reverse psychology/tempting fate or whatever .....

In the noticeable absence of the nuns it is a useful weapon !!

Now bring on the nuns for a couple more Saints goals

Bednarek and Stephens are decent centre backs. For a lower table Championship team.

Forster reminding everyone how terrible his distribution is.

Ralph not bothering with central midfield.

Load of old pish.
