Most hated club in the PL

I think it obviously depends on any situation with our club. 6 months ago it would've been Villa by a stretch. Before then it was always Liverpool or Tottenham. Right now...those weird folk who can barely speak English

Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle and Man Utd in that order.

I think the only team I don't mind at the moment is Norwich. Crystal Palace are pretty non offensive too. Probably top five disliked for me would be Liverpool, Spurs, Man Utd, Brighton and Newcastle. Burnley just on the edge.

Why Burnley? They’re not great to watch but in the same boat as us doing their best in an increasingly difficult situation. Plus it’s a decent away day even though we rarely get anything there.  They are one of the clubs I disk-like the least.

I don't dislike Man City as much as some of the other top clubs. Liverpool are my least favourite followed by Man Utd and Chelsea.

Don't mind similar size clubs to us like Palace, Brighton, Norwich, Watford.

Really don't like Spurs, West Ham, Everton and now Newcastle. The rest all fall somewhere in between.

I agree, it probably helps that despite their success you don't see many glory hunting Man City fans around down here and the City fans I've met in the past are generally down to earth.

I hate most of the other "big" clubs especially Liverpool and Spurs, I struggle to like Brighton partly as they seem to think we have a rivalry from the league one days, an ex-colleague of mine still refers to us as Stains or scummers and drones on about how their attendances are bigger, fanbase still growing biggest club on the south coast blah blah blah

In an ideal world I'd love to see Newcastle and Everton relegated this season

There's a few annoying Brighton fans around, fortunately the ones I know are alright and mostly seem to have forgotten the silly League One rivalry stuff now.

Calling us "Stains" is incredibly lame, they need to grow up and concentrate on their proper rivalry seeing as they play them every season now.

I don't hate any of them. Too much of that in the world.

I do however savour a win against Spurs more than most. Never forgiven them for dumping Frank Saul on us.

I'd also like Saints to beat Leeds 7 0, and be game one on MOTD.  Oldies will understand that.

Worst ones for me are Spurs, Everton and Newcastle with their deluded fans and in Newcastle’s case autocratic, extremely violent and repugnant owners. Liverpool fans and Klopp themselves are OK, it’s the ex player hangers on and sycophantic press I dislike. City’s petrodollars have made the PL even more uneven but don’t find them offensive per se apart from that. West Ham and Villa fans have their deluded moments but not in Spurs, Everton and Newcastle League for deluded.

For me the teams most watchable are Man City, Viera's Crystal Palace, Wolves and Chelsea.

The least watchable are Everton, Burnley, West Ham and Leicester City.

The rest I can take or leave, probably mostly leave.

Similar for me although I'd swap Leicester for Chelsea. I find Chelsea boring to watch, whereas Leicester games nearly always have a lot of action and they play with a bit of attitude and pace.

As long as it follows beating Everton 8-0.

I was sick of Man U in the days of 'Fergie time' but they seem quite harmless these days and Ole S even had them playing with a smile--and losing. Liverpool, on the other hand, I cannot tolerate. They have the most self serving fans convinced everyone owes them a living, they are fawned over by the media and I will never get over the way they ruined our club and won the title and Euro Championship on the strength of our players. I would even support those down the road against Liverpool

Newcastle - because of their fans.

Crystal Palace - solely because of Zaha, he leaves I can tolerate them again

Leicester - solely because of Maddison, just a bit of an overrated twat.

Liverpool - but not so much now….

Manchester United - their fans, I mean bloody hell.

Might do a thread for the most disliked Premier League eleven.

One of the greatest football songs of all time (probably from the 70's if I recall) surely has to be the legendary and  lyrically brilliant.....

"We all hate Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, Leeds and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, and Leeds and Leeds and Leeds, WE ALL FUCKIN' HATE LEEDS"

I don't like Brighton from the League One days. They had some horrible little individuals like Poyet, Taricco and El Abd and of course have Lallana, while Maupay is a bit twattish too. Wouldn't consider them south coast rivals, though, they can continue with their weird and manufactured one with Crystal Palace.

I don't like Liverpool for their victim/everyone's against them complex, despite many bending over for them. Newcastle are getting the same after their takeover.

Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham have deluded fanbases.

Think it's more about their style of play and the way Sean Dyche never gives any credit to opposing teams when they beat Burnley. Also can't stand Ashley Barnes either, for me he just typifies them as a team.

Liverpool. No contest.

It's ingrained from the 70s/80s when they dominated completely with functional football and were so full of themselves.  Got us all banned from Europe. We could have won the league early 80s without their dominance. And the arrogance of their fans is without comparison.

Them nicking all our players recently didn't help.

Yep, I hate the fawning from the media over them as well, how loads of pundits are ex liverpool players. And their fans from outside Liverpool are mainly knobs.

I dont particularly dislike any particular premier league clubs, but do have a number of pet hates

1.  MK Dons.  Club should simply not exist

2. Plastics.  Anyone who supports a team because they were top of the league when they were 9 or won the cup.  Has no connection with the town/city of the club and never goes to games.  Not worth talking football with.  Genuine supporters of all teams are normally fine (Item 1 excepted)

3. Any team managed by the likes of Billy Davis, Gus Poyet etc.

Above all else I agree with this. Plain theft and the league should have stopped them in their immoral tracks.

Fabulous stadium, very comfortable. MK could have easily entered the pyramid. 3 or 4 years they would have been in the league on their own merits.

Hate is a strong word, but certainly strongly dislike quite a few.

Newcastle has certainly gone up there, celebrating a takeover by an awful regime like that just for football success. But also making out Ashley was such a bad owner when in reality he wasn't, he just didn't throw money around all over the place like they wanted and like the majority of owners of football clubs across the world. Hardly hard done by, I mean he spent £40 million on a striker, half the clubs in the league or at least many of the clubs around them have never done that. Plus them idolising Rafa and hating on Bruce for basically the same results, with the same squad and the same brand of dour defensive football, yet they hero worshipped one and vilified the other. Add in the clear Covid rules cheating getting games called off because their best players are out and the window is now open they are right up there. Really hope they go down and have a feeling most of the league do.

Liverpool obviously is a dislike, mainly comes from knowing far too many glory hunting fans around me when they have no connection to Liverpool and clearly just support them because they were good back in the day. Plus the whole arrogance/victim thing as well.

Man Utd just because of the arrogant fans and because they complain about Chelsea and City, as if they have never spent huge amounts of money.

Of so called big 6 I actually quite like City, they have a lot of players I like, I like Guardiola, their style of play but mainly because most of their existing fans seem to have a little less arrogance about them, they know the lows like going into league one like we did and know how lucky they got. Plus the plastic glory hunting crowd doesn't seem to have have taken to them that much, all the kids I see still where Chelsea or Man Utd or Liverpool. Plus they seem to be the upstarts and disliked by the old arrogant super clubs.

Burnleys style of play is annoying but I have more solidarity with them these days because they are like us, battling the big spenders and having to make do within their means.

Most of the rest rather indifferent to I reckon.

A couple of posters mentioned Chelsea, but we've done really well with transfers with them over the decades (with 2 notable Br*nf**t exceptions!), so I certainly have no ill feelings toward them (despite their dodgy owner).

The opposite is true of the despicable North London yobbos Spurs (Levy, Chivers, Saul, Fourpast, Bale, Poch, etc. etc.), and I always want them to lose against any of the other 18 teams.
