Slightly baffled why we haven't brought on Romeu yet to help shore things up

One yellow from a ban I think. May be needed at CB next game...only Bednarek available at the mo.

Nah, ref got that one right (for a change)

I know, I'm just appealing everything. The dog vomited what he had eaten off the Christmas tree all over me and I feel and look like a Spurs player.

I like Perraud. He's taking no shit and giving it plenty. Good lad.

he's so average though, at everything. He's not terribly quick, strong, good on the ball, and crossing, tacking, passing and dribbling are all `meh'.

Oh god I hope that was actually a foul on Forster......

Definitely, despite what hoddle is saying. Have to be consistent with how you protect keepers.

Perraud having a nightmare to be fair.

What? Are we watching the same game? Think he' s done pretty well.

My problem is not this game but Brentford now without Salisu and no centre back replacement if Lyanco and Stephens out.

maybe a slight foul, maybe, but it's woeful keeping. Got lucky.

David Pruton on NBC sports really does not seem to like Southampton much.

Well he does, he lives near me, often see him walking round town with his son wearing saints kit. We have a mutual friend and he’s very fond of saints

Keepers always going to get protected there but why the hell isnt Forster claiming that at its highest point, basics for a keeper.

cos he is and always has been crap when coming for crosses.

Decent save with his feet afterwards though.

Forster needs to use his height and take the ball at its zenith, not wait for it to come down to chest height.

Maybe it’ll turn out like that Arsenal game when he survived clangers and somehow saved everything they threw at him.

It's a case of him being professional and not wanting to appear biased whereas the likes of Hoddle and Carragher can't help themselves.
