Lighthouse Posted 11 December, 2021 Share Posted 11 December, 2021 I eat all those things in moderation and I am, to the best of my knowledge, healthy and an acceptable BMI. You can abuse anything. Millions die each year from alcohol, road vehicles, exposure to the sun… heck, you can stick your head in a garden shredder if if you really want to. There’s a difference between sustained abuse of an every day product and a disease which is genuinely harmful.

Lighthouse Posted 11 December, 2021 Share Posted 11 December, 2021 That’s not news Turkish, we’ve known for decades that being obese is unhealthy. Why would you need an ‘expert’ to come on TV and explain it again. It’s been reported countless times by various news channels that obesity is a risk factor.

I have just read a post by Turkish in your reply Badger so this is on you!! 😄 But thank you for putting his post into context. His strange obsession with whether he is being ignored or not springs from his narcissistic nature. Any attention is good attention to someone with A Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I will say it one more time as his understanding of the situation seems to be clouded by his overinflated opinion of his own self importance in a football forum. He is on my ignore list but I can still read his posts when they are quoted by others and you are able to chose to read posts if you wish by selecting the read post option. Occasionally I have read a post by him for the sake of continuity in the thread. I have always known that you can see who have posted an emoji so this supposed stunning revelation by our resident ego maniac is rubbish. I have no problem in him knowing if I have read a post by him. It doesn’t make me a liar. He is on my ignore list and has been for some time. Any mod can confirm that. At the same time I have never claimed not to read anything he has written. I am sure there are others doing the same. No big deal really, except to Turkish who desperately needs to hoover up attention. So hopefully we have cleared up this very unimportant issue and he will stop using me as an attention seeking device. Moving on…
