why also add extra CBs rather than extra CMs. The only time we should have extra CBs is at the end of games when opponents are smashing long balls into the box. We dont know what we are doing with that formation.

I don’t mind 3 at the back but 3 up front was a bit daft, we really needed someone like Diallo in there to support the middle. Think we’d have probably lost this game whatever formation we put out, but this game was gone far too early, we just got played right through us.

yeah, I agree, no formation stops Salah, but I just don't see us being tighter with 3 CBs. Three CBs and 3 strikers...very unusual. Wonder if it might work against a middling team
