Interesting to see 3 Saints in the top 15 of the Sky Sports power rankings. Probably represents our improved form over the past few weeks, and our improvement as a whole defensively this season, but still good to see. Adam Armstrong is next up, at 41, after these 3. Sorry if I'm on my own here, but what exactly are 'Power Rankings'? What do they reflect?

They reflect how easy a team's fixtures have been.

When a team is on good form, their players get high power ratings, when a team is on bad form they get bad player ratings.

Cornet is 10th and his team is in the relegation zone with 1 win all season. Chelsea only have one player despite being in number 1, City have none in the top 15 despite being 2nd.

The Article goes on to say "Southampton youngster Tino Livramento maintained his ascent in the rankings after another impressive display in a 1-0 victory against Aston Villa."

I think you can take it from that that these stats are basically a load of bollox or at least whoever penned the article has no clue.

How does the power rankings affect the xG and possession? What about 'speed of sideways movement when the ball has gone out for a throw in'? All these stats are much more important than the actual final score, obviously.

No one believes that
