So far I'm reasonably impressed by Lyanco.

He's pretty quick for a CB, looks strong and unlikely to get pushed off the ball, seems positionally aware and has distributed the ball pretty well.

Do we know what we paid for him? Presumably not much - he might turn out to be a real bargain.

My trusty iPad has given up the ghost tonight so far as I'm stuck at work and it's normally reliable!  I'll keep trying to get Sky Go to work. No goals yet so I'm not missing anything...

...oh it's working. Hurrah! Let the goals commence...

Doing alright to be fair

Doing more than alright. Giving them a proper game so far.

Tactically, I think Ralph has got this spot on. Maybe that's why it's so quiet on here tonight - the anti-Ralph posters don't have anything to complain about.

Total agreement. We always look so good  against the good teams

Che Adams - is there any point …

He's just come back from injury and he's up against a defence that hasn't conceded a single goal from open play this season. I'm not expecting miracles TBF.

Am I going nuts or is KWP and Valery both playing at right back with Djenepo at left back?

No idea but from that chelsea attack Valery wasn’t anywhere near the back line

Same old story. Looking promising and then sucker-punched. Happens every game. Star performers have been Lyanco and the Saints fans. Our forwards have pressed well but been useles on the ball. Chelsea only need one moment. We need many and even then we probably won't score.

He looks like he's playing in a back 3 or in defensive midfield to me...KWP is definitely at right back.

Valery was just looking like he was at CAM then, I’ve no idea tbh

So disappointing to ship that. Soft.

It will be enough against us as well, tbf we were the better team the first half

I think he's definitely trying him out in a more attacking role. It's long been said on here that Valery is better going forward and should be tried on the wing in fairness.

He literally had his hand on KWP's shoulder holding him down and preventing him from jumping FFS.

That's what good strikers do.

Playing right cb in a back 5

Very good half but disappointing way to concede. Should KWP really have been defending that position.

Lyanco looks so different to the calamity described from the Sheff Utd game. Could be a bargain.

Ref is compoletely biased as normal vs big teams. Diallo booked for tug back, ok fair enough. Their player tugs back diallo, no booking.
