No, just a realist.

Shame you spend all your time on matchdays digging at fellow fans...

Well we got a goal to cheer. Apart from that our confidence isn't really going to improve.

3-1.

Im not sure confidence was the issue.

Feel sorry for Macca

where were the CBs when he tapped it in?

Possibly out of position, you can call it bad defending, but we are playing one of the best teams in the world, they also have a say in what is happening on the pitch.

And you spend your time laughing about the problems

Walker peters is fucking shit at left back.

That much was obvious last week against Wolves. No idea why Ralph decided it would be a good idea to throw him in there again against a much better team.

Card changed the flow and it was never a red....

Its a red all day long and not getting overturned in a million years.

And regardless, we didn't lose this game because of the red card. We've been poor for two thirds of the game. Chelsea should have been out of site first half and could easily have had 6-7 on another day. We barely turned up for the first 45min.

Annoying because we were doing well at 1-1 and they were getting frustrated.

Stupid tackle by Ward Prowse, not sure it was worthy of a red but he gave the ref and VAR more to look at than necessary. He was never going to win the ball so shouldn't have slid in.

no doubt. I simply asked the question. Where were they?

They will probably overturn that red and say “there you go Saints, cheer up!”

The damage has been done though.

They won't overturn that in a million years.

Werner took KWP to pieces for the third. Not signing a left back good enough to get in this team is costing us.

It was Mount, who went past Diallo. Apart from that, good point.

Maybe our embarrassment of a manager will realise soon that playing KWP at left back is a fucking terrible idea.

TBH you are an embarresment of a fan

Still not convinced that third goal actually crossed the line.

Technology will prove it did.

Next 2 weeks are crucial.

Need an overhaul and lineup and set up to really have a go at Leeds and Burnley.

We can't be dining out on a 0-0 vs Man City. We need 4 points at the very least from the next 2.

Right, today was a free hit in truth so we move on.

Time to earn your wages Ralph - next 3 games are critical

You don't think the last 28 games were a time to earn his wages (highest paid manager in our history)?

Unlucky with the red card. Ralph should have continued with three central midfielders with the ten men. A big mistake. Played well before this. Adam Armstrong is not ready for Premier League football. Needs dropping.

Well let's see how a midfield without JWP gets on for the next 3 games. He's been mostly poor this season so maybe a few games off will do him good.

Posted (edited)

People shouldn't put that loss on JWP, it was a bad challenge. but we were tactically awful for the first 45min, chelsea had 20 shots, 9 on target, and looked like scoring with every attack, with 2 other goals ruled out.

Yes his tackle took away any chance, but chelsea should have won that game all day long.

Perraud not excelling from the off ties his hands a little. That signing needed to be spot on and so far it hasn't. Give it time of course.

Don’t agree with a lot that you say but I do with this.
