Weird because I'm reasonably sure today's U16 game vs Palace was called off a few days ago. You'd have thought they could have put a few of them on the bench.

The sites used to follow scores are slightly tricksy with information on subs benches at times.  No need to panic about lack of players.

At least I posted the things about Dave Merringtons in his thread from 2012 and posted other things in related threads from years or months back.

 

Maybe I didnt fancy doing a search for once.

Maybe an interesting player to look at is Ajax youth goalkeeper Charlie Setford. Plays for England u18 and a fellow Saints fan.

Keep posting please MB, your posts on the younger teams in particular I find really interesting. On the face of your first post it looked like we didn't field any subs, and given the shambles that our academy is, it's understandable that you queried it.
