Saint_clark Posted 15 January, 2024 Posted 15 January, 2024 Eh, they aren't the strongest WSL side. Still think it'll take a monumental effort to beat them. When is the game?

With the right setup, we can trouble them for sure 1

LeBizzier69 Posted 16 January, 2024 Posted 16 January, 2024 Taking the wife and child to the game on Sunday - really quite looking forward to it.
Saint_clark Posted 21 January, 2024 Posted 21 January, 2024 Surprised to see Rendell on the bench, is she recovering from injury?

Saint_clark Posted 25 January, 2024 Posted 25 January, 2024 Is the Spurs game tonight on TV anywhere?

It's annoying, I paid £2 yesterday for the U21s, gives you 5days access but then today I have to pay again??? https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/matches/mens-team?teamId=5rWqTSv5IrxHLIaTP8kJgM Edited 25 January, 2024 by Master Bates
Master Bates Posted 25 January, 2024 Posted 25 January, 2024 (edited) Valid until 03/02/24 yet charging again tonight. Or does it only count for U21s? Edited 25 January, 2024 by Master Bates

Saint_clark Posted 25 January, 2024 Posted 25 January, 2024 Even in the women's game there's one dickhead shouting "get it forward!" after some tidy one touch football playing it short. 2

sad saints fan Posted 25 January, 2024 Posted 25 January, 2024 3-0 Spurs in the end .I think we need another season in the championship because we didnt really lay a glove on Spurs.
Sheaf Saint Posted 27 January, 2024 Posted 27 January, 2024 I only live a stone's throw from Bramall Lane so I'm taking my 9yo daughter to watch our game there tomorrow. I see there's an outside chance of going top if we win and other results go our way. I'm trying to look up the teams' relative recent form, but it's evidently hard to find info about the women's championship outside of the clubs' OSs. And we've only played 3 league games in the last 2 months anyway. Looking forward to it though. Anybody who watches regularly got any thoughts on chances/prediction for the game?

Google Womens Championship, tables, results and fixtures available on many sites, including the FA, Sky, BBC. Not sure about form but more tables available here for instance https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/womens-championship/league-table/ 1

Sheaf Saint Posted 28 January, 2024 Posted 28 January, 2024 Enjoyable game so far. We clearly have more skillful players and apart from a 10 minute spell after we scored Utd haven't really threatened.
Saint_clark Posted 28 January, 2024 Posted 28 January, 2024 2nd in the league now unless Charlton or Palace can find a late winner.

Charlton got the late winner, but still have promotion in our hands. Don’t think we will quite have enough and with the juggernaut that is Newcastle on their way up, it could be a couple of years unless we do it this season.
Dr Who? Posted 28 January, 2024 Author Posted 28 January, 2024 Looking like it will be a Newcastle v Skakes playoff to go up.

Fabrice Fernandes no.1 fan Posted 29 January, 2024 Posted 29 January, 2024 Shame to see that the next FA cup round is at Silverlake Stadium instead of St Marys. We had 14,000 for the Arsenal game, I would think we'll easily sell out Eastleigh 1

I'd imagine there's some kind of recovery/repair routine that begins immediately after the game which would be ballsed up by another game being played on the sunday.
Saint_clark Posted 4 February, 2024 Posted 4 February, 2024 Sunderland just above us currently drawing 0-0 but down to 10 men. We're unlikely to go top as Charlton have Lewes who are in the relegation places.
sfc4prem Posted 4 February, 2024 Posted 4 February, 2024 Crystal Palace's goal difference suggests this will be tough.

Araya Dennis is on loan there from Arsenal I think, she's looked quality every time I've seen her play. Still young so will probably go back to Arsenal and make it there.
Saint_clark Posted 4 February, 2024 Posted 4 February, 2024 Promotion definitely gone if we lose this i'd say.
Saint_clark Posted 4 February, 2024 Posted 4 February, 2024 Really frustrating to blow this chance with Charlton losing (somehow).
