Playing too conservative against West Ham. We’ve attacked Man City more than this. Get another striker on for one of the anonymous trio, who only turn up against Newport.

Ronaldo with the only Premier League first half goal. Scripted.

Most of our players wouldn't get in any other PL team so I suppose 0-0 is a decent enough scoreline. Pretty depressing, along with the loads of empty seats.

Half time ratings:

McCarthy 6 - hasn't had a save to make. WHU have been shit as well.

Tino 5 - I'm sorry, but KWP is way better. Smacks of "Martin's" vanity project. Too slow to release the ball and looks tired. Do the fair thing and pick KWP.

Stephens 6 - has done pretty well.

Salisu 6 - as above.

Perraud 5 - looks decent going forwards but a bit sleepy at the back.

Romeu 5 - past it. Diallo should be starting.

JWP 6 - meh.

Redmond 4 - shite.

Elyounoussi 3 - shite. Couple of goals against poor teams doesn't change the fact it looks like a 50 year old is playing.

Djenepo 5 - one of our best defenders. Still a mess in terms of output though. 1 goal in 45 matches.

Armstrong 5 - found some good pockets of space but with no one competent around him it's tough. Should have been played clean through by Tino who didn't look up, as usual.

Ralph 4 - the fact that KWP and Tella are sat on the bench whilst some of these chumps are out there is criminal.

We didn't show any inventiveness or creativity in the first half all we did is nullify their chances as best we could! Maybe that's our game plan today try and park bus but ultimately get hit on the break!

Yeah lets take a risk and when we lose to a sucker punch it will be cry all the way home. WHU are a good side and we have to be cautious as we need some points on the board

West Ham are either tired or looking to win this at a canter. Get Moi and Redmond off and go at them, be brave FFS.

We’re playing for 0-0 but WHU will win this the minute they score. At home, let’s take the game to them.

Redmond having another cracker I see. Ralph is blind.

He must have some photos of RH in a compromising situation.

He offers nothing, absolutely nothing.

Listened to Dave Merrington's first half commentary and thought we were doing pretty well in a hard fought, well balanced game.

Come on here and apparently we're not!

Prediction? 2-1 Saints.

This really isn't the place to come for measured opinion.

People have to realize that the posts during the match are always driven by emotion. Things seem better or worse depending on what’s going on. Once the game is over, people have calmed down and are more measured in their comments.

I don’t know why this is so hard to grasp for some people.

Well you were frigging quiet about him when he came on and helped gain us a point at Newcastle

And that's them on a counter attack. What the fuck was Romeu doing. Let off.

Nothing wrong with the back heel from Romeu, Redmond should have been more alert, he would have got to it if he'd not been leaning backwards.

When Armstrong played that ball I was out of my seat. Saw it was Redmond and sat down again.

Same. I was confident we were 1-0 up, then I was confident we weren't.

Broja, Tella and Adams on the bench. Come on Ralph, be brave for a change. Heck even Lyanco or Valery may be better in attack than what we've seen from Redmond, Djenepo and Moi so far!

Be patient. Will all happen at about 0-2.

Players literally shouting and pointing for redmond as they run into space and he still passes it backwards. What is that all about?

It's just what he does, he loves to pass backwards.

Redmond is like a favourite dog that’s in the living room in the warmth but keeps shitting all over the carpets. Other better behaved dogs are huddled together in the yard, shivering. RH sits in the kitchen wondering why his living room smells so bad.

Not best analogy in this thread, but certainly the weidest! ;)
