Bit of a bombshell. Saw him live a few years ago. Very funny man. Thought he looked ill on more recent episodes of 8 out of 10 cats, but didn't realise he had cancer.

Absolutely loved him on Cats does Countdown. The chemistry between him, John, Jimmy, Suzie and Rachel was always hilarious. Gutted to hear he was taken, far too young.

Just a brilliant comic, easily one of my all time favourites. Saw him live and he was so good. Brilliant on Cats Does Countdown week after week after week. 

A couple of years ago it was clear something was up - there was a series of Countdown where he sounded different and looked unwell. So not a massive surprise but still a shock.

And no age, 58.

Didn't take to him at first, but he grew on me. It's an art to make comedy look off the cuff, and his mildly eccentric style was very British. RIP Sean, will be sadly missed.

This has to be one of my all time favourite panel show clips, the way Jimmy just cuts him off. He did seem ill at the time, I just assumed he had a cold/flu.
