I've been at a festival all week. It's unbelievably liberating to walk around in large crowds of smiling, happy people, cramming into tents to see bands and moshing without even thinking about covid. It's like a totally different world and I'm not looking forward to getting back to the old one tomorrow.

As for the game it will be 5-1 to someone. Probably Man Utd.

It’ll be interesting to see what effect the crowd has, Ralph would probably have lost his job last season if the crowds were there to voice our frustration. Maybe Ralph would have changed his approach when he became aware of our dissatisfaction? Who knows, it’s been a messed up year and a half, and it’s given him a free pass, but things will surely change now one way or another.

However critical we are about Ralph, it has to be said that he set the team up well between March 2020 and November 2020, providing some superb entertainment (sad we couldn't watch it live). If we had like for like cover so that the players  could be rested, they might not have become so exhausted. Ralph's pressing tactic did not match our resources.

As our resources might be too thin for a good result against multibillionaire Manure.

Same team as last time. Wow, was not expecting that after last week’s shambles. Ralph must watch a different game to the rest of us.

Ralph shows his stubborn side. First sub around 8 minutes when 3 goals down?

Have changed it for you.

Oh FFS…..if  Armstrong is not injured then I fear he is being sold.
which would be fucking crazy.
cant believe he’s picked the same side.
whatever  your thoughts on Tino,KWP has to be a starter.
If we get battered Ralph has to go.

I think he should’ve gone an age ago TBH

Same crap again for the line up.

Dropping KWP is unforgiveable, ditto no stuart armstrong - and how can we seriously be dropping Bednarek (a mainstay last season), for Jack Stephens.

Just wtf is going on.

Given that the main criticism of Ralph is that he is unable to recognise when things aren’t working/adapt accordingly you’ve got to hand it to him for really nailing the stereotype. A heavy defeat and surely serious questions will need to be asked.

Armstrong was not in training galleries last week. I'd guess... injured.

Only on the bench against Everton though.

There's something a bit odd. I hope he is only injured.

Genuinely worried about Stuart Armstrong. Didn't Ralph say no new injury worries. Too many of our senior players seem to be voting with their feet.

Strange that Ralph stated there were no injury concerns in his presser then!

Bednarek has been pony for most of 2021.

Whatever case you might make for some of the others retaining their place, it's indefensible that Walcott - who should've been hooked after about 20 minutes last week - is starting again.

Hope he has blinder, of course. But he won't. Of course.
