Kyle Walker on the other hand seems to be able to play RWB and RCB at the same time. Not perfect but a million times better than TAA.

Edit - Set up nicely for a shocker of a second half!

Didn’t some of us say that during the week on this forum but were told we are wrong? 😇

Yep. Very average defender, which is why shoutgate doesn’t pick him… regardless of how many assists he gets.

Imagine if Southgate left him out and stuck with James (our best) and Walker (who is very very good and can play in a back 3), most of the media would have kittens.

That situation was avoided last summer due to his injury

He's had a cracking half. Superb bit of covering when he drifted across to left centre back to sort out Salah. A decent RB must be able to defend first and foremost, and Walker does it well.

Walker is very solid defensively and about the quickest player you’ll find.

However, much as TAA is an attacking full back who can’t defend, Walker is a defensive full back who can’t attack.

And Walker gets done there!

Anyone know what The XG is at the moment?

All I know is if Adams was on the end of that Modric pass, it’d have been straight at the keeper… regardless of the XG.
