Another Burnley goal and Everton will be in the bottom three.

And Everton playing City this afternoon.  I'm sure they'll stay up but it's nice to see them under a bit of pressure.

Seeing their remaining fixtures, i'm not so certain.

Burnley and Watford both managing to squeeze out a point today, I’d be surprised if Everton don’t drop into the relegation zone with the run of fixtures they’ve got.

A lot will come down to how they react to that.

Skates level at the death, there'll be scenes of jubilation in the streets tonight at their incredible point at home to Fleetwood.

Although other results mean they’re a point worse off then before kickoff if they were hoping for a play off spot 🤣

I'm so jealous. We did cheat to get to 9th. Pompey have reached this pinnacle playing proper football with proper fans.

They don't have the stomach for a fight. A squad fill of lightweights and son-in-laws, and a fan base with no patience who will turn on Lampard quickly if things don't improve.

We stay 9th! 2-0 Villa!

Happy with that. Pleased for Villa to get their much needed win today rather than still be looking for it next weekend.

Just heard an UNTOWARD language apology. Industrial I can live with but untoward is really stretching it…..

Apologies to all watching the Everton/Man City game, the vacuum cleaner is in use behind the TV.
Occasionally I bump into it with the nozzle, causing Richarlison to fall over.

Comical from Keane.

They're deep in the shit now. If Burnley had found a winner at Palace earlier Everton would be in the drop zone this evening.

Indeed. I guess it's at least consistent with the Leicester goal scored with the 'shoulder'? Looked like a handball to me though.

Any further down the arm and it would have been I suspect.

I thought Everton have played quite well tonight. I can see them getting the points required without much trouble.

I still think the bottom 3 will be the bottom 3 as it is tbh.

I reckon Burnley will get out of it, and be replaced by either Leeds or Brentford.

But Everton's run-in is savage, and good performances aren't enough. They didn't look likely to score tonight.

Ashley Cole still an utter prick I see 😂

Yes, it looks like one of Leeds, Brentford and Everton to join Watford and Norwich. I think Everton will survive because Leeds and Brentford are shittier. Brentford and Leeds are dropping like stones, and meet on the last game of the season, so that could be interesting. I would love it, love it, if Leeds were to go down. It depends how long Bamford and Phillips are out.

Weekend Roundup:
Leeds defence leaking goals like a colander; and Everton just permanently clumsy and full of lightweights not up for a fight - that all said I think will just about survive. Burnley too will stay up, they’re a team that are strong willed and up for a battle. Brentford I can see continuing to plummet.

Saints continue unexpected charge for Europe. We have a huge opportunity to be the “best of the rest” this season. 8th or 9th is a real possibility.

Man United drawing 0-0 at home to Watford, excellent point for them, maybe that’ll see them push on.

Pompey, biggest team in League 1 for the seventieth successive season still scrape a point against a bang average relegation threatened team. Massive club, open top bus parade and DVD release expected.

Leeds have now conceded 60 goals. More than any other team. More than 2.3 per game. They are in free fall and deep deep trouble.

Bielsa sacked according to Fabrizio Romano.

That yank has got a CV that just screams next Saints manager. Red Bull Salzberg, links with Rangnick, bit of time with Leipzig. Probably does pressing or something.

Also, critically, currently out of work.

In another universe he's a candidate for SFC all day long.

In other news, how does Mark Hughes still get work?

Utter fraud of a man. Just fuck off.

Mark Hughes Bradford City got off to a great start 0-2 loss at home to Mansfield

I get a few snippets on Yorkshire football  these days so was told Bielsa was gone after their game today. Bradford have got some very good young players so if Hughes has the balls to play them then he could turn it round quite quickly there. They could be a championship club so any vaguely competent manager should get them promoted next season, possible a bit late this season.

Looks like also that signing Perraud has been more effective than Firpo thus far. Leeds and Saints linked with both LBs before we signed Perraud and they Firpo https://www.motforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=41760&start=160
