In theory, yes, but in this case the game should have been brought back to the point in time when the penalty foul occurred. Having said that, the half time whistle went straight after the new kick off. I can’t be arsed to go back and check but it seemed to me that there was a lot of time between the penalty foul and the point when VAR stuck their nose in. In other words, did the time taken for VAR to make a decision in itself delay the half time whistle and, if so, should it have done? S-Clarke Posted 23 October, 2021 Share Posted 23 October, 2021 (edited) Norwich already 3-0 down, not even HT yet. They just look totally and utterly out of their depth in every part of their game, every week. I don't know if that's down to the player quality, or the coaching? When you look at them on paper they don't have 'bad' players, they should be at least competing, so for them to be so out of their depth every week must be somewhat down to the tactical approach they employ. I'm not even sure what it is tbh. Edited 23 October, 2021 by S-Clarke

(Although Cantwell is out atm) This is all on the manager and tactics in my opinion. They don't even make an effort to close down off the ball, it's all so, so, so easy.
